What you'll learn
What you'll be able to do
- Confidently sketch and analyse functions, transformations, and graphs — including exponential and logarithmic curves — and solve related 'A' Level exam questions accurately.
- Solve a full range of equations and inequalities (linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic) using the algebraic techniques required by the MOE syllabus.
- Apply differentiation rules — product, quotient, and chain — to find tangents, normals, stationary points, and optimise real-world problems as tested in Section A exam questions.
- Set up and evaluate definite and indefinite integrals to calculate areas under and between curves, correctly applying standard integration results from the H1 formula list.
- Analyse probability scenarios using addition, multiplication, and conditional probability laws, and model discrete data with Binomial and Poisson distributions, including expectation and variance.
- Conduct and interpret Z-tests and T-tests for population means, evaluate Pearson's correlation coefficient, and fit a least-squares regression line to bivariate data — exactly as required in Section B of the H1 paper.

Who it's for
Is this you?
The JC1 Early Starter
Wants to build strong foundations in Functions and Calculus from day one so JC2 revision feels like review, not rescue.
The JC2 Gap-Filler
Heading into the final stretch with shaky confidence in Statistics or Integration and needs targeted, exam-focused catch-up fast.
The Self-Study Learner
Prefers learning at their own pace outside the classroom and wants a structured, complete resource that covers every examinable topic.
The School-Lesson Booster
Keeps up in class but wants the extra clarity of step-by-step worked examples and Exam Workshops to turn a B into an A.
The Stats Struggler
Comfortable with Pure Maths but finds Hypothesis Testing, the Normal Distribution, and Regression abstract — and needs them explained with real context.
The Pre-Exam Revisor
A few weeks out from the 'A' Level paper and wants timed Mock Papers, targeted feedback, and last-mile revision to lock in every mark.

Hey — if you've landed here, there's a good chance you've stared at a page of Maths, felt that sinking feeling, and wondered whether you're really cut out for this. I want you to know something straight away: that feeling isn't a sign you're not smart enough. It's a sign you haven't yet had the explanation that makes it click. That's exactly what this school is here to fix.
H1 'A' Level Mathematics is a genuinely wide syllabus. In two years you go from sketching exponential and logarithmic graphs, through the product, quotient, and chain rules, through integration and area calculations, all the way to running hypothesis tests and interpreting regression lines on bivariate data. Covered well, it's one of the most satisfying intellectual journeys you can take at this age. Covered badly — rushed, jargon-heavy, disconnected from the exam — it becomes a source of real stress. I've built this course because I believe every JC student deserves the former.
Every lesson starts with a real-world hook or a question that makes you genuinely curious before a single formula appears. Then we build the concept step by step, in plain language, with worked examples drawn directly from the style of questions the MOE paper actually sets. I'm not interested in showing you tricks that only work on one question type. I want you to understand the why behind each technique — because that's what lets you adapt when the exam does something unexpected. By the time you reach each Exam Workshop, you're not memorising a method; you're applying understanding.
I also know that JC life is relentless. CCAs, other A-Level subjects, the social whirlwind of being 17 or 18 — Maths has to fit around all of that. That's why every lesson is designed for a 30-minute study block. Some days you'll power through several in a row; other days you'll do one lesson before bed and that's enough. Both are fine. Progress is progress, and this course is built to celebrate every bit of it.
If you're JC1 and starting from the very beginning — welcome, you've timed this perfectly. If you're JC2 and the exams are starting to feel very real — you're in exactly the right place. Let's build the confidence and the skills to walk into that exam hall ready. I'll be with you the whole way.
