What you'll be able to do

  • Measure, analyse, and evaluate experimental data with precision and accuracy, correctly propagating uncertainties in the way A-Level markers expect.
  • Solve kinematics and dynamics problems — including Newton's laws, momentum, and projectile motion — using structured, mark-winning working that matches MOE marking schemes.
  • Apply work-energy-power principles to real and exam-style scenarios, confidently identifying when to use conservation laws vs. force methods.
  • Analyse DC circuits using Kirchhoff's laws, calculate resistance and voltage division, and interpret I-V characteristics of standard components.
  • Explain electromagnetic induction and magnetic force phenomena quantitatively, linking Faraday's and Lenz's laws to real-world generators and transformers.
  • Interpret nuclear decay equations, calculate half-life and activity, and evaluate the physics underpinning medical imaging, communication technology, and sustainable energy applications.

Who it's for

Is this you?

The JC1 Early Starter

She wants to build rock-solid foundations from Day 1 so that JC2 revision feels like consolidation, not catch-up.

The JC2 Crunch-Time Student

He needs targeted, syllabus-precise revision and full mock papers to sharpen his exam technique before the actual A-Level papers.

The Concept-Confused Learner

She grasps individual facts but struggles to see how topics connect — and needs clear explanations that link theory directly to exam questions.

The Mark-Scheme Decoder

He knows the physics but keeps losing marks on working and keywords, and wants to understand exactly what Singapore examiners reward.

The Self-Directed Learner

She prefers studying at her own pace outside school and needs a complete, well-structured resource she can trust without a tutor.

The Real-World Connector

He finds equations dry in isolation but lights up when physics is tied to MRT systems, medical imaging, or sustainable energy — the way this course always does.

If you've ever stared at a Physics question, understood every individual word in it, and still had absolutely no idea where to start — you're not alone, and it's not your fault. H1 Physics in JC is genuinely demanding, and the jump from O-Level can feel enormous. The syllabus assumes a level of conceptual rigour that most school lessons barely have time to build, and past-year papers can feel like they're written in a language just slightly different from what you've been taught.

That's exactly the gap this course was built to close. I designed it because I believe two things very strongly: first, that every JC student is capable of understanding A-Level Physics — not just memorising it; and second, that understanding the physics and scoring the marks are not separate goals. When you see why Lenz's Law works the way it does, the exam question about the direction of induced current stops being a guess and starts being obvious. When you understand the logic behind Kirchhoff's laws, potential divider questions become straightforward rather than scary. Physics rewards understanding — and this course builds it systematically, from Measurement all the way to Nuclear Physics.

Every lesson connects theory to something real — an MRT train decelerating into a station, a transformer in the national power grid, a PET scan at a Singapore hospital — because abstract equations stick so much better when you can picture what they're actually describing. And every chapter ends with an Exam Workshop, where we go beyond the concepts and into the mark scheme: what examiners actually want to see in your working, what keywords earn you method marks, and what the most common mistakes look like so you can sidestep them entirely. The two full-paper mock exams at the end — Paper 1 MCQ and Paper 2 structured — give you a proper dress rehearsal before the real thing, with targeted revision to close any remaining gaps.

I know you're juggling a lot. Multiple subjects, school tutorials, CCA commitments, and the low-level stress of knowing that 'A' Levels are coming. This course is designed to fit around all of that — focused, efficient lessons that respect your time and always keep one eye on the exam. You don't need to spend endless hours memorising; you need to understand the structure of the subject and practise applying it the right way. That's what we do here.

Whether you're a JC1 student who wants to get ahead and build strong foundations early, or a JC2 student who needs to consolidate and sharpen up before the papers — this course is your structured, encouraging, no-nonsense companion for the journey. I'll be with you every step of the way. Let's get to work.
