TO

Tuition on Demand Academy

If you're reading this, you're probably somewhere between quietly anxious and quietly excited about H2 Literature — and honestly, that's exactly the right place to be.

Maybe you chose this subject because you love reading and you wanted to study something that felt alive. But now you're staring at an unseen poem with twelve minutes on the clock, or you've just got an essay back with "more analysis needed" written in the margin for the fourth time, and you're wondering if you've made a terrible mistake. You haven't. You just haven't yet been shown how the game is played.

I built this school because I believe H2 Literature is one of the most intellectually rewarding things a young person in Singapore can study — and because I've seen too many genuinely thoughtful students get stuck not from a lack of ideas, but from a lack of a clear framework for turning those ideas into marks. The Assessment Objectives aren't designed to trick you. The essay structure isn't arbitrary. The open-book format is an enormous advantage — if you know how to use it. These are all learnable, and that's what we do here, together, one well-designed 30-minute lesson at a time.

Every unit in this school is grounded in what the MOE syllabus 9539 actually asks you to do. We don't drift into vague "appreciation of literature" territory. We read closely, we argue precisely, and we practise under real exam conditions — with model answers, examiner commentary, and timed mocks that mirror Papers 1, 2, and 3 exactly. When you sit down to write about Jane Eyre's relationship with power, or track the Romantic sublime through Keats, or read Donne's metaphysical conceits alongside Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys and Remembering Babylon by David Malouf for Paper 3, you'll have both the literary insight and the essay architecture to say something genuinely impressive.

I also want to be honest about something: good Literature study takes time. There's no shortcut around actually reading the texts, sitting with the ideas, and practising your writing. What I can promise is that the time you spend here is spent well — no filler, no vague encouragement, no lessons that could have been a handout. Just rigorous, enthusiastic, syllabus-aligned teaching that respects your intelligence and your ambition.

Whether you're a JC1 student finding your footing, a JC2 student in final-lap mode, a tutor building a sharper toolkit, or a parent trying to understand what your child is working towards — you're in the right place. Come in, get curious, and let's read something together.
