If you're reading this, there's a good chance that life got harder in a way most people around you don't fully understand. Maybe a brain injury changed the way you process, remember, or communicate. Maybe your brain has always worked differently, and the world just wasn't built with you in mind. Either way, I want you to know: you are not less intelligent. You are not less capable. You are someone carrying an invisible cognitive load that most people never have to think about — and you deserve real tools that actually help.

That's why I built AI4TBI.

I created this program because I kept seeing the same gap: AI tools were getting genuinely useful, but all the teaching around them assumed a particular kind of learner — someone without fatigue, without memory challenges, without the very real experience of hitting a wall mid-task and not knowing how to get back. The people who could benefit most from AI as a support tool were being left out of the conversation entirely. That felt wrong, and I wanted to fix it.

This program teaches you how to use AI the way it actually helps — as an external memory, a patient planning partner, a first draft of a hard email, a way to simplify a confusing letter from your insurance company, a tool to build a daily routine that bends around your real life. Every lesson was written to be clear without being condescending, and every skill was chosen because it solves a real problem that real people with TBI or neurodivergent minds face every single day.

I also want to be honest with you about what this program is not. It is not a cure. It is not a workaround for your brain. And it will never ask you to outsource your identity, your relationships, or your judgment to a machine. One of the things I'm most proud of in this curriculum is the section on personal continuity and decision-making authority — because your story is yours, and using AI should protect that, not erode it.

You don't need to be a tech person. You don't need to have tried AI before. You just need to be willing to take one small step at a time — and I'll be right there with you for every one of them. Welcome. I'm really glad you're here.
