I also want to be honest with you about something: this material is complex, and parts of it are genuinely difficult. The line between a personality style and a personality disorder, the distinction between psychotic features across different diagnoses, the cultural variables that can make a DSM criterion mean something entirely different depending on context — these are not trivial puzzles. I won't pretend otherwise.
