Let me be direct with you about why I built this seminar — and why I believe it matters for someone at your level.

That intuition is correct. And it deserves a rigorous theory com praxis framework, not another technology hype cycle.

The intellectual foundation of this seminar comes from the seminal work of Akerlof and Shiller — Nobel-caliber thinking about the five behavioural forces, the animal spirits, that have always driven market economies beneath the surface of rational-actor models. What I have done is bring that framework into direct collision with the reality of an AI-shaped world: algorithmic trading that can accelerate a panic in milliseconds, generative AI systems that can produce persuasive economic narratives at scale, crypto markets that exhibit every form of money illusion simultaneously, and a global regulatory landscape that is still racing to catch up with forces it barely understands. The curriculum covers all of it — not as a survey, but as an integrated, strategic framework.

I am also serious about the ethical dimension, and I want you to know why. The question of who controls the algorithms that shape economic expectations is not a peripheral compliance concern. It is one of the defining governance questions of our era.
