Thrive in powerlifting for life
Built to Last Barbell is the online school for women who want to go deeper than programming — into the culture, mindset, meet-day confidence, and sustainable habits that keep you in this sport for the long haul.

The barbell is the starting point — what I really teach is how to build a life in this sport that lasts.

Who it's for
Is this you?
The curious newcomer
She's intrigued by powerlifting but needs a clear, honest picture of the sport — the culture, the community, and what competition actually feels like — before she commits.
The first-meet prepper
She has a meet on the calendar and wants to walk onto the platform knowing exactly what to expect — from equipment rules to warm-up room etiquette to how attempt selection works.
The experienced competitor
She's got meets in her history but wants to go deeper into the mindset, culture, and coaching relationship dimensions that training programs never address.
The returning athlete
Life pulled her away from the platform — injury, motherhood, career — and she's ready to come back on her own terms, without starting from scratch emotionally or practically.
The overwhelmed juggler
She loves lifting but struggles to make it sustainable alongside work, family, and relationships, and needs real strategies for balance that don't require sacrificing the sport she loves.
The community builder
She wants to be a positive force in her gym and the broader sport — mentoring newer lifters, giving back through volunteering, and helping make powerlifting more welcoming for women.

If you've ever walked out of a meet — or a hard training session — and thought, I wish someone had told me that, this school is the thing I'm building for you.
I know what it's like to figure out powerlifting mostly on your own. To google "what happens at a weigh-in" at 11pm before your first meet. To feel unsure whether the tension with your coach is a communication problem or a sign you need to move on. To have a terrible competition and spiral into wondering whether you're even cut out for this — and then show up the next Saturday anyway, because something about this sport has its hooks in you. That experience of figuring it out as you go, often alone, is one of the things I most want to change for women in this sport.
Built to Last Barbell came out of a simple conviction: the technical side of powerlifting has plenty of resources. The human side doesn't. Nobody hands you a guide to gym culture, or a framework for finding a coach who actually fits your life, or a toolkit for handling the mental weight of a missed third attempt. Nobody talks clearly about what burnout feels like in an athlete who loves her sport, or how to come back after six months away without treating it like a punishment. That's what this school is for.
What you'll find here isn't theory disconnected from the platform. It's grounded in real athlete experience — in the conversations that happen in warm-up rooms and parking lots and on long drives home from meets. We cover the full arc: understanding where you fit in the sport, preparing for meet day with nothing left to chance, building a coaching relationship that actually serves you, navigating community with confidence and generosity, developing mental resilience that holds up under real pressure, and ultimately building a strength philosophy that extends into every area of your life.
I want you to be the kind of powerlifter who's still here in ten years — not because you ground yourself down to stay, but because you built something sustainable and meaningful. Because you knew the culture, you had your people, you had your mindset tools, and you understood your own why clearly enough to come back to it whenever things got hard.
That's the long game. And I genuinely can't wait to work through it with you.
