Wanda Holmes
If you're reading this, I'd be willing to bet you started in childcare because you genuinely care about kids and families — not because you wanted to become a small business operator managing enrollment funnels, staffing ratios, and quarterly P&Ls. And yet, here you are. Responsible for all of it.
I've worked with childcare owners and directors who are among the most dedicated, hardworking people in any industry. And almost universally, the thing that holds them back isn't passion or effort — it's the absence of a clear, written strategic plan. Not a vision statement on the wall. A real plan: with specific goals, defined KPIs, sequenced priorities, and a process for staying on track when the year gets chaotic (and it always gets chaotic).
That's the gap Childcare Growth Blueprint closes. I designed this school because the generic "business planning" content out there doesn't account for the real complexity of running a childcare center — the licensing pressures, the staffing crises, the enrollment seasonality, the parent relationships, the thin margins. You need frameworks that were built for your world, not adapted from a retail or tech playbook.
Here's what I know to be true: a director who sits down once a year to honestly audit the past, set meaningful targets, and map out the road ahead will consistently outperform a director who is simply reacting — no matter how talented that second director is. This school teaches you that sit-down. It gives you the structure, the frameworks, and the actual documents to make strategic planning a real, repeatable discipline in your center.
This isn't about becoming a different kind of leader. It's about giving the leader you already are the tools to work smarter, communicate more clearly, and build a center that runs with intention all year long. I'd love to help you do that. Come on in.
