Who it's for

Is this you?

The stretched solo director

She runs every aspect of her center herself and needs documented systems so things don't fall apart the moment she steps away.

The multi-site owner

He's expanding to a second location and knows informal tribal knowledge won't survive the growth — he needs scalable, standardized procedures across both sites.

The veteran director going legit

She's run her center successfully for years on experience alone and is finally ready to formalize her policies before her next licensing renewal.

The compliance-anxious administrator

He manages licensing paperwork and staff records and wants airtight health, safety, and incident-reporting SOPs that hold up to regulatory scrutiny.

The newly appointed director

She just stepped into a director role and inherited a center with no written procedures — she needs a complete framework to build from the ground up, fast.

The high-turnover problem solver

He's tired of retraining every new hire from scratch and wants onboarding and training SOPs that get staff compliant and confident in their first week.

I want to start by saying something you might not hear often enough: the fact that your center is still running without a complete SOP system isn't a failure on your part. It's what happens when passionate, capable directors are handed the keys to a center and expected to figure out the paperwork, the protocols, the training systems, and the compliance trail — all while also managing staff, reassuring parents, and making sure every child in your care is safe and thriving. You're doing an enormous job. I just want to make one big part of it easier.

I built this school because I've seen what happens on both sides of the SOP divide. On one side: the center where every policy lives in the director's head, new hires shadow someone for a week and call it training, and a licensing visit sends everyone into a quiet panic. On the other: the center where staff open the building the same confident way every single morning, new employees are productive in their first week because orientation actually prepares them, and parents choose you — and stay with you — because everything about your communication feels professional and trustworthy. The difference between those two centers almost always comes down to written systems. Not bureaucracy. Not binders no one reads. Real, plainly written, staff-tested procedures that make the right way the easy way.

What I've designed here is a practical, structured path through every operational layer of a childcare center. We start with the architecture — how to design your SOP Master Plan so it's organized, numbered, and version-controlled in a way that actually holds up over time. Then we move through daily operations, health and safety, emergency response, staff onboarding, parent communication, and finally the ongoing maintenance process that keeps your library current as your team and your regulations evolve. Every section is built around the same principle: you should be able to hand this document to a staff member and trust that they know what to do.

I also want to address the concern I hear most often: "I don't have time to write SOPs." I understand. You're already stretched. That's exactly why we approach this one category at a time, with clear frameworks and language guidance that make the writing faster than you think. You're not starting from nothing — you're capturing what you already know and putting it in a form your whole team can use. Most directors tell me the process itself surfaces gaps they didn't realize were there, and that alone is worth the work.

If you're a center owner building your first formal system, a director who inherited a patchwork of informal policies, or an administrator preparing for a licensing renewal or a period of growth — this is the place to do that work. Come build something your center can actually run on. I'll be with you every step of the way.
