Who it's for

Is this you?

The exhausted pastor

He's been pouring out for years and finally needs a space that addresses ministry burnout, boundaries, and the unique stigma of a leader admitting he's not okay.

The quietly struggling believer

She loves her faith but has carried shame about her anxiety for years, and needs tools that feel native to her beliefs — not foreign to them.

The young worship leader

He's performing spiritual strength for his congregation while privately wrestling with depression, and needs permission to be honest about both.

The church-going caregiver

She's managing family, service commitments, and grief while holding everyone else together — and desperately needs a rhythm of self-care she can actually sustain.

The longtime churchgoer in burnout

Decades of faithful service have left her emotionally depleted, and she needs whole-person theology to understand why that happened and how to heal.

The skeptical seeker

He's open to faith but wary of psychology being dismissed at church — this school's integration of both gives him a framework he can actually trust.

Friend, if you've found your way here, I want you to know something first: the fact that you're struggling doesn't mean your faith is failing. It means you're human. And God made you human — all of you, not just the parts that are easy to bring to church on Sunday.

I created Whole & Holy because I kept seeing the same thing: deeply faithful people — believers, deacons, worship leaders, pastors, parents in the pew — quietly falling apart while everyone around them expected them to be the strong ones. They were praying. They were serving. And they were suffering in silence because somewhere along the way, the church taught them that struggling meant something was spiritually wrong. I knew that wasn't true. But knowing it and having a safe, structured place to work through it are two very different things.

This school exists to be that place. I've woven together what I know from Scripture, what the field of psychology has carefully documented about how our minds and bodies work under stress, and what I've witnessed again and again in real people's journeys toward wholeness. Nothing here is theoretical for the sake of sounding impressive. Every tool — the breathing practices, the CBT reframing, the boundary-setting frameworks, the lament psalms — is something I want you to actually use, in your real life, this week.

I also want to be honest with you about what this school is not. It is not therapy. It does not replace a licensed counselor, a psychiatrist, or a doctor. In fact, one of the things I care most about is helping you recognize when you need that level of support — and giving you the language and the confidence to go get it without shame. Advocating for your mental health is not a lack of faith. I'd argue it's an act of faithful stewardship of the mind God gave you.

You don't have to have it figured out to begin. You don't have to be in crisis, and you don't have to be barely surviving. Whether you're a pastor running on fumes, a parent who hasn't felt like yourself in months, or a believer who has quietly wondered if the way you feel is normal — there is a place for you here. Come as you are. Whole & Holy will meet you there.
