Hey — I'm glad you found this.
If you're reading this, I'd guess you're somewhere between frustrated and excited. Maybe you're in a role where you can feel the ceiling, and you know that learning to code and work with data is the lever that moves it. Maybe you've watched colleagues get handed more interesting problems because they can write a script or build a dashboard, and you're tired of being on the outside of that. Or maybe you've already tried to teach yourself — worked through a tutorial, copied some Python, got it running once — and then got completely stuck the moment you tried to do something real with it.
That last one is the most common story I hear. And it's not a you problem. It's a curriculum problem. Most resources teach you the language without ever teaching you how to think like someone who builds things. They show you syntax. They don't show you what to do when your data is messy, your API key isn't working, and your dashboard is rendering blank. Code & Data Lab is built to close that gap.
Here's what I designed this school to do: take you from "I know Excel and I'm not afraid to Google things" to someone who can automate tasks with Python, build interactive visualizations, wire up a front-end with JavaScript, pull live data from APIs, and apply AI tools to real business problems — with a portfolio of four shipped projects to prove it. I won't talk down to you. I won't bury you in jargon. I will introduce precise technical vocabulary — because you need the right words to search for answers, communicate with engineers, and land roles — but we build to it together. When something is confusing, I'll reach for an analogy before I reach for a definition. When you finish something hard, we'll call it out, because those small wins compound into big ones.
