Find your family's rhythm — gently
A gentle, evidence-informed course that helps parents of babies 4–12 months build flexible, predictable routines — so everyone in the house can finally breathe again. Think less chaos, more calm confidence.

"When you understand what's actually happening with your baby's sleep, you stop second-guessing yourself — and that changes everything."— Johnauy Farrington

- Navigate the 4-month sleep progression with confidence, knowing what's biologically happening and what to do (and not do) about it.
- Master wake windows and nap transitions from 4 naps down to 2, and troubleshoot the short-nap cycle that's draining your day.
- Build a flexible, age-appropriate daily schedule that bends with real life without falling apart entirely.
- Reduce bedtime resistance and early waking using gentle, responsive settling approaches that feel right for your family.

Why the Routine Stopped Working
A gentle mindset reset that helps parents understand why their once-working routine has unravelled — and why that's not a failure, it's developmental biology at work. This module builds the compassionate, curious foundation the rest of the course rests on.
- 1.1The Newborn-to-Infant Shift Nobody Warned You AboutIncluded
- 1.2How Your Baby's Sleep Actually Works NowIncluded
- 1.3Releasing the Pressure: Flexible Structure vs. Rigid RoutineIncluded
The 4-Month Sleep Progression
A clear, reassuring deep-dive into the most talked-about — and most misunderstood — shift in infant sleep. Parents learn what is biologically happening, what genuinely helps, what accidentally makes things harder, and how to protect their own sanity while moving through it.
- 2.1What Is the 4-Month Sleep Progression — Really?Included
- 2.2What Helps, What Hurts, and What to Let Go OfIncluded
- 2.3Getting Through It: Surviving the Progression Without Losing YourselfIncluded
Wake Windows & Nap Transitions
The practical engine room of the course. Parents learn to read their baby's unique tiredness cues, use age-appropriate wake windows as a flexible guide, navigate the 4-to-3 and 3-to-2 nap transitions with confidence, and finally break the short-nap cycle that fragments their days.
- 3.1Wake Windows Explained — Reading Your Baby's RhythmIncluded
- 3.2Navigating the 4-to-3 and 3-to-2 Nap TransitionsIncluded
- 3.3Breaking the Short-Nap CycleIncluded
Building a Predictable Daily Schedule
Parents take everything learned in Modules 1–3 and bring it into a real, liveable daily structure. This module moves from concept to calendar — with age-specific sample schedules, a framework for building a personalised routine, and clear strategies for maintaining the rhythm when real life inevitably disrupts it.
- 4.1The Anatomy of a Baby-Friendly DayIncluded
- 4.2Sample Schedules by Age — 4, 6, 8, and 10–12 MonthsIncluded
- 4.3When Life Doesn't Match the Schedule — Flexibility Without ChaosIncluded
Gentle Settling Shifts
With a strong schedule in place, parents now turn to the edges of the day — bedtime resistance, night settling, and early waking — and learn responsive, evidence-informed approaches that reduce stress for both baby and parent without requiring any form of harsh sleep training.
- 5.1Understanding Bedtime Resistance — What's Really Going OnIncluded
- 5.2Building a Wind-Down That Actually WorksIncluded
- 5.3Gently Shifting Early WakingIncluded
Keeping the Rhythm & Parent Wellbeing
The final module holds two equally important threads: the practical tools for protecting the rhythm through life's inevitable disruptions, and the explicit, warm acknowledgement that the parent behind the routine is a whole person who also deserves care. Parents leave not just with strategies, but with a sense of competence, flexibility, and permission to rest.
- 6.1Regressions, Leaps & Disruptions — Holding the Rhythm When It WobblesIncluded
- 6.2Travel, Time Zones & Visitors — Protecting the Rhythm Away from HomeIncluded
- 6.3Caring for the Parent Behind the RoutineIncluded
- 6.4Your Rhythm, Your Way — Graduating with ConfidenceIncluded

Johnauy Farrington
If you're reading this, I'm guessing you're somewhere between exhausted and quietly desperate for things to feel more manageable. Maybe you had a loose rhythm that worked in those early weeks, and then — somewhere around 4 months — everything seemed to fall apart at once. Nights got harder. Naps got shorter. And you started wondering whether you'd somehow missed something, or done something wrong. I want you to know: you haven't. What you're experiencing has a real, biological explanation, and it is completely, utterly normal.
I created Daily Oasis Parent Academy because I kept seeing the same thing: parents arriving at the 4–12 month stage with no map and a lot of noise. The internet offers extremes — rigid schedules on one side, no structure at all on the other — and somewhere in the middle, you're just trying to get through the day without falling apart. This course is that middle ground. It's built on what we actually know about infant sleep development, and it's delivered in a way that respects both your baby's needs and yours.
What you'll find here isn't a formula to follow blindly. It's understanding — real, grounded understanding of what's happening with your baby's sleep, why wake windows matter, how nap transitions actually unfold, and what gentle settling can look like in practice. When you understand the why, the decisions get so much easier. You stop second-guessing every nap. You start trusting yourself again.
I also want to say this plainly: your wellbeing matters in this course. Not as a side note — as a genuine priority. We spend time looking at how to hold your rhythm through regressions, travel, and the messy patches, and we close with a whole section on caring for the parent behind the routine. Because a sustainable rhythm for your baby has to be sustainable for you too.
You don't need to be perfect at this. You just need a gentle place to start — and I'd love this to be it. Come as you are. We'll figure it out together.
