Shani Roberts

If you're building a business and you feel like you're piecing everything together from Google searches, YouTube rabbit holes, and advice that sometimes contradicts itself — I want you to know that's not a you problem. That's a gap in accessible, structured business education. And it's exactly why the Enterprise Growth Institute exists.

Here's what I see again and again: talented, driven entrepreneurs who have a real business idea — and real customers — but whose businesses aren't structured in a way that lenders, certifying agencies, or government contracting offices can recognize as credible. Not because the owner isn't capable, but because no one ever walked them through the infrastructure in the right sequence. EGI is my answer to that. It is the program I wish existed for first-generation entrepreneurs, for business owners pursuing supplier diversity certifications for the first time, for anyone who has ever been told to "just go get an EIN and open a bank account" without being told what comes next.

What you'll find inside EGI is not theory for theory's sake. Every module is built around decisions you actually have to make — which legal structure is right for your business and why, what a business credit report actually shows and how to build a clean payment history responsibly, which certifications you're eligible for and what documentation you'll need to pursue them, and what SBA lenders and CDFI mission-driven lenders are really looking at when they evaluate your application. We cover SAM.gov and UEI registration, NAICS codes, capability statements, microloan programs, grants, and more — and we're honest with you about what's realistic at every stage.

I also want to address the thing I hear most often: "I'm worried I've already made mistakes and it's too late to fix them." It's not. The EGI curriculum includes a dedicated business audit process — a structured way to assess exactly where your business stands today across legal, financial, credibility, and certification dimensions — and then build forward from there. Every learner starts with a self-assessment and ends with a personalized Business Growth Blueprint: a milestone-driven, integrated action plan that is yours to keep and activate.

Whether you are pre-launch and want to do this right from day one, or you've been operating for a few years and know there are gaps to close before you pursue that government contract or certification — EGI was built for you. Come in with where you are. Leave with a business that's ready for where you're going.

I'm glad you're here. Let's build something that lasts.
