"The gap between who you are and who you know you could be isn't a motivation problem — it's a structural one, and that's exactly what we're here to fix."Gianluca De Gennaro

What you'll learn

What you'll be able to do

  • Use the Five Signature Thrive XL Frameworks — The Life Compass, The Four-Question Snapshot, The Three-Phase Arc, The Pressure Reset, and The Inside-Out Test — to diagnose where you are and design where you're going.
  • Identify and actively interrupt your dominant Saboteur patterns (Positive Intelligence / Chamine) while activating the Five Sage Powers to make clearer, calmer high-stakes decisions.
  • Surface and reframe the core limiting beliefs and narrative loops driving self-sabotage, using The Inside-Out Test, EFT tapping sequences, and NLP submodality work.
  • Install new emotional and behavioural states using NLP anchoring, the Circle of Excellence, and Ericksonian future-self visualisation — so change becomes embodied, not just intellectual.
  • Build a personalised Daily Ritual Architecture anchored by The Pressure Reset (Pause–Plant–Pivot) and a Stoic morning/evening reflection practice that holds under real professional pressure.
  • Complete a rigorous 90-Day Sustainability Plan using the WOOP method (Gabriele Oettingen) so momentum becomes structural — not dependent on motivation alone.

Where You Are Now

The program opens inside The Three-Phase Arc (Thrive XL) at Phase 1: Discover. Before any transformation is possible, participants need an honest, ground-level picture of their current reality across every dimension of life. This module establishes that baseline using two of the Five Signature Thrive XL Frameworks — The Life Compass and The Four-Question Snapshot — and introduces the full Arc so participants understand the journey they are embarking on. Tone is warm, non-judgmental, and practitioner-led: this is an audit, not a verdict.

  • 1.1The Life Compass — Mapping All Seven DimensionsIncluded
  • 1.2The Four-Question SnapshotIncluded
  • 1.3Introducing The Three-Phase ArcIncluded
2

The Stories You're Living In

Still in Phase 1: Discover, this module goes one layer deeper than the Life Compass audit. Participants begin excavating the belief structures and narrative patterns that are actively shaping their decisions, relationships, and results — often without their awareness. The Inside-Out Test (Thrive XL) is introduced as the central diagnostic for distinguishing externally-imposed stories from internally-generated ones. Attribution: cognitive-linguistic roots draw on the NLP meta-model tradition (Bandler & Grinder) and narrative psychology (White & Epston). No external framework is presented without its source.

  • 2.1Belief Archaeology — Finding the Story Beneath the BehaviourIncluded
  • 2.2The Inside-Out TestIncluded
  • 2.3Narrative Loops and the Language of ChangeIncluded
3

Values, Vision, and True North

The final module of Phase 1: Discover moves participants from diagnosis to direction. Having audited where they are (Module 1) and what stories are running the show (Module 2), participants now establish the values-grounded, evidence-based vision that will anchor everything in Phases 2 and 3. Two rigorously attributed external frameworks are used: the VIA Character Strengths Survey (Peterson & Seligman, 2004, Values in Action Institute) and the Ikigai model (originating in Okinawan tradition; contemporary synthesis drawn from the work of Héctor García and Francesc Miralles). The module closes by building a personally specific True North vision — not a generic goal list, but a coherent picture of who this participant is becoming.

  • 3.1Character Strengths as a Leadership Foundation — VIAIncluded
  • 3.2Ikigai — Finding the Intersection That Sustains YouIncluded
  • 3.3True North — Designing the Vision That Actually Fits YouIncluded
4

Meet Your Saboteurs

Phase 2: Design begins here. Before participants can build the life and leadership they have envisioned, they need a precise map of the internal forces that will actively resist the change. This module introduces Positive Intelligence (Chamine, 2012) as the framework for identifying, naming, and understanding the Saboteur patterns that operate most powerfully in the participant's professional life. Attribution: all Saboteur content is drawn from Shirzad Chamine's Positive Intelligence framework (Positive Intelligence, Inc.) and is presented with full attribution throughout. The PQ Assessment (available at positiveintelligence.com) is recommended as a companion tool.

  • 4.1The Master Saboteur — Anatomy of the JudgeIncluded
  • 4.2Your Accomplice Saboteurs — The Profiles That Run Your Professional LifeIncluded
5

The Sage Within

This module completes the Positive Intelligence arc (Chamine, 2012) by shifting participants from Saboteur identification to Sage activation. The Five Sage Powers — Empathise, Explore, Innovate, Navigate, and Activate — are taught as a practical leadership operating system for high-stakes decision-making and interpersonal challenges. PQ Reps (Positive Intelligence physical-sensory mental fitness practice) are introduced as the daily practice that makes the Saboteur-to-Sage shift a trained, reliable skill rather than a conceptual preference. This module moves the program from diagnosis into active practice — a significant Phase 2 milestone.

  • 5.1The Five Sage Powers — A Framework for High-Stakes ClarityIncluded
  • 5.2PQ Reps — Building Mental Fitness as a Daily Physical PracticeIncluded
  • 5.3Sage Leadership in the Room — Applying PQ Under Real PressureIncluded
6

Releasing What Holds You Back

With Saboteur patterns mapped and Sage capacities introduced, participants are now ready for the deeper release work that makes those patterns genuinely mobile rather than merely intellectually understood. This module introduces two somatic and linguistic change modalities: Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT; Craig, 1990s; drawing on Callahan's Thought Field Therapy, 1980, and meridian-based psychology) and NLP Reframing (Bandler & Grinder, 1979; 'Frogs into Princes'; O'Connor & Seymour, 1990). Both are presented with full attribution and with honest framing of their evidentiary status — EFT has a growing body of peer-reviewed support (Church, Stapleton); NLP reframing has strong practitioner evidence and emerging empirical support. No overclaiming.

  • 6.1EFT Tapping — Working Directly with the Nervous SystemIncluded
  • 6.2NLP Reframing — Changing the Frame, Changing the MeaningIncluded
7

The Meta Pattern

This module introduces one of the program's most sophisticated conceptual and practical tools: The Meta Pattern, drawn from the work of John Overdurf (NLP and hypnosis tradition; 'Training Trances,' Overdurf & Silverthorn, 1995; Overdurf's later body-centred NLP work). The Meta Pattern describes the four universal moves that all genuine personal change goes through — and, crucially, the specific points at which most change attempts collapse. For the growth-minded executive audience, this module provides the most rigorous change-process map in the program: it explains why willpower-based approaches consistently fail, and what to do instead. This module is a prerequisite for the anchoring and hypnotic work that follows.

  • 7.1The Four Moves of Change — Overdurf's Meta PatternIncluded
  • 7.2Pattern Disruption in Practice — Breaking the Automatic LoopIncluded
8

Anchoring the State You Want

Phase 2: Design reaches its technical peak in this module. With limiting patterns disrupted (Modules 6 and 7), participants are now ready to install the new emotional and behavioural states that will replace them. This module teaches NLP anchoring (Bandler & Grinder; drawing on Pavlovian and operant conditioning principles) and the Circle of Excellence (NLP; O'Connor & Seymour; MacDonald) as the primary state-installation tools of the program. These are not visualisation exercises: they are precision state-management protocols designed to make new emotional resources available on demand — under pressure, in real time, in the professional environment.

  • 8.1NLP Anchoring — State on DemandIncluded
  • 8.2The Circle of ExcellenceIncluded
9

Going Beneath the Surface

This is the module that most clearly distinguishes Ignite by Thrive XL from surface-level mindset programs. Participants go beneath the cognitive and behavioural layer into the deeper structure of their inner experience — using NLP submodality work (Bandler, 1985; 'Using Your Brain for a Change') and Ericksonian hypnosis (Milton H. Erickson, M.D.; Rossi, 1980; 'Hypnotherapy'; O'Hanlon, 1987) to work at the level of identity, unconscious belief, and embodied future-self. All hypnotic and induction material is drawn from the Thrive XL source material library. This module contains the program's most powerful and clinically rigorous change work and is appropriately sequenced after the full preparation of Modules 1–8.

  • 9.1NLP Submodalities — The Structure of Internal ExperienceIncluded
  • 9.2Ericksonian Hypnosis and Deep Change — Permissive Induction and Unconscious ResourcefulnessIncluded
  • 9.3Future-Self Visualisation — Installing the Identity You Are BecomingIncluded
10

The Stoic Reset

Phase 3: Activate begins here. The deep change work of Phase 2 now needs to be translated into sustainable daily practice under real professional pressure. The Stoic tradition — particularly the Stoicism of Marcus Aurelius ('Meditations'), Epictetus ('Enchiridion'), and Seneca ('Letters from a Stoic') — provides the philosophical and practical bedrock for a reflection practice that is honest, rigorous, and anti-fragile. The module draws on Ryan Holiday's contemporary Stoic practice synthesis ('The Obstacle Is the Way,' 2014; 'Ego Is the Enemy,' 2016; 'The Daily Stoic,' 2016) as a practical access point, with primary sources cited throughout. Stoicism is presented not as pessimism but as the most operationally useful philosophical toolkit for high-stakes professional environments.

  • 10.1The Dichotomy of Control — The Most Useful Distinction in High-Stakes LeadershipIncluded
  • 10.2Stoic Morning and Evening Reflection — The Bookend PracticeIncluded
11

Daily Ritual Architecture

With the philosophical container of the Stoic practice established, participants now design the complete Daily Ritual Architecture that will carry all the program's gains into their daily professional life. This module introduces The Pressure Reset (Thrive XL), the program's signature micro-intervention for high-stakes moments — Pause, Plant, Pivot (the 3 Ps method) — and integrates it with the Stoic bookend practice, PQ Reps, anchoring, and identity-level habit formation. Drawing on habit science (Clear, 'Atomic Habits,' 2018; Duhigg, 'The Power of Habit,' 2012) and identity-based habit theory (Clear, 2018), this module makes the transformation structural rather than motivational. The Three-Phase Arc (Thrive XL) reaches its Activate phase culmination here.

  • 11.1The Pressure Reset — Pause, Plant, PivotIncluded
  • 11.2Designing Your Daily Ritual ArchitectureIncluded
  • 11.3Identity-Level Habit Change — Becoming the Person Who Does ThisIncluded
12

The 90-Day Sustainability Plan

The program's final module closes The Three-Phase Arc (Thrive XL) at the peak of Phase 3: Activate and answers the most important question in any transformation program: what happens after the last module? Using the WOOP framework (Gabriele Oettingen, 'Rethinking Positive Thinking,' 2014; Oettingen & Gollwitzer, mental contrasting with implementation intentions, NYU research), participants build a rigorous, evidence-based 90-day sustainability plan that makes continued progress structural. The module synthesises all Five Signature Thrive XL Frameworks into a single Personal Operating System, and designs the post-program continuity architecture that ensures lasting transformation rather than temporary inspiration.

  • 12.1WOOP — The Science of Making Change StickIncluded
  • 12.2Synthesising the Five Signature Frameworks — Your Personal Operating SystemIncluded
  • 12.3Designing Your Post-Program ContinuityIncluded

Who it's for

Is this you?

The Quietly Stuck Executive

You've built a career most people would envy, and you still feel like something essential is running on autopilot — Ignite gives you the diagnostic tools and structured inner work to finally locate and shift what's underneath.

The High-Pressure Decision-Maker

When the stakes are high, your Saboteurs get loud and your clarity gets thin — the Sage framework and Pressure Reset are built specifically for the moments your role demands most.

The Skeptical Self-Developer

You've tried the programs and read the books, and you're done with hype — Ignite's rigorous attribution of every framework and its honest acknowledgment of evidence limits is designed to earn your trust, not bypass your critical mind.

The Mid-Career Inflection Point

You're somewhere between what you've achieved and what you sense is still possible, and the old motivations no longer carry the same weight — the Ikigai and True North work in Week 3 is designed for exactly this crossroads.

The Values-Led Leader

You want your decisions, your culture, and your daily conduct to actually reflect who you are — the VIA Character Strengths foundation and the Inside-Out Test help you build leadership from the inside rather than performing it from the outside.

The Sustainability Seeker

You've had breakthroughs before that didn't stick — the 90-Day WOOP Sustainability Plan and Daily Ritual Architecture exist to make sure this time the change is structural, not motivational.

Gianluca De Gennaro

I want to start with something honest: if you're here, you've probably already done some version of this work before.

Maybe it was a leadership development program at your company. Maybe a coach you genuinely respected. Maybe a book that felt true when you read it and less true six weeks later when the demands came back. You're not here because you've been avoiding growth. You're here because the versions of growth you've tried haven't quite held — and you're starting to wonder whether the problem is structural rather than personal.

That distinction matters enormously, and it's the architecture on which Ignite is built.

What I've learned across years of working with senior professionals and executives is that the gap between where someone is and where they know they could be is almost never about information or effort. It's about the layer beneath those things — the Saboteur patterns running quietly in the background, the narrative loops that feel like self-awareness but are actually self-reinforcing, the limiting beliefs that were forged in a very different context and never updated. That layer doesn't respond to motivation. It responds to precise, embodied, structured work. That's what this program is.

Ignite draws on frameworks I trust because they are sourced, tested, and honest about what they do and don't claim: Shirzad Chamine's Positive Intelligence model for identifying the internal patterns that undermine your best decisions; NLP anchoring, submodality work, and Ericksonian visualisation for installing change at the level where it actually lives; EFT tapping sequences for working directly with the nervous system rather than arguing with it; the Stoic practice of Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus — not as philosophy to admire, but as a daily operating discipline; and Gabriele Oettingen's WOOP method to make sure what you build here outlasts the program itself.

None of this is about becoming a different person. It's about becoming a clearer, more grounded version of the person you already are — one whose inner life matches the outer capability you've spent years developing. If you're ready to do that work in a rigorous, honest, practitioner-led environment, I built this for you. I'd be glad to have you in the room.
