Maybe you remember the feeling — sitting in a room where everyone else seemed to understand, and wishing someone would just slow down, start from the beginning, and explain it in a way that made sense for you. If that's where you are right now with English, I want you to know: you are in exactly the right place, and we are going to start at exactly the right pace.

I built I Speak English because I believe that learning a language should feel like walking through a door that opens wider with every lesson — not like climbing a wall with no handholds. We begin at the very beginning if you need to. We learn the sounds the letters make. We find out how short-vowel families like -an, -at, and -ig unlock dozens of words at once. We practise until reading a sentence out loud feels natural — and then we celebrate that, because it is worth celebrating.

As you grow, so does what we do together. We move through grammar and sight words, through multi-paragraph writing and literary analysis, through the kind of essay skills that open doors to further education and professional life. By the time you reach the College level, you are reading across academic disciplines, writing scholarly arguments, and communicating with real confidence and precision. Every step of that journey is structured around the Canadian curriculum — the same framework used in schools across Canada — so the progression is not random. It is proven.

I know that life doesn't stop while you learn. That's why every lesson is on demand, on any device, and entirely at your pace. I know that hearing English from a voice that feels comfortable matters. That's why you choose your teacher. And I know that reaching a milestone deserves more than a pat on the back — it deserves recognition. That's why a real, downloadable certificate waits for you at the end of every single grade level.

You don't need to be young. You don't need a perfect memory. You don't need to have started earlier. You just need to show up, and I will meet you there — starting with the very first sound, and walking with you all the way to the last word of your college capstone. I am so glad you're here.
