If you're reading this, you've probably already put real time into studying Japanese. You can hold a conversation, you can read a menu, maybe you've even passed N4. But the N3 feels like a different beast — and honestly, it is.
The gap between N4 and N3 isn't just more words and more kanji. It's a shift in what the exam expects from you: faster reading, natural-speed listening, nuanced grammar patterns that all look similar until you have to choose between them under time pressure. A lot of learners stall here — not because they aren't working hard, but because the way they're studying isn't matched to how the test actually works. Textbook Japanese and JLPT Japanese are related but not the same thing, and that difference shows up in your score.
I built this program because I've seen what works: a structured, syllabus-anchored approach where every skill area is developed deliberately and nothing is left to chance. We start with kanji — all 650 of them, organized into themed sets so your brain builds real associative networks instead of an endless random list. We move through vocabulary using chunking and spaced repetition, not just flashcard grinding. We tackle every grammar pattern the N3 tests in two careful stages, with drills that look exactly like the sentence-completion questions you'll face on test day. Then we build your reading and listening skills the same way the exam measures them — task type by task type, timed, progressive, and always realistic.
The final phase is what I'm most proud of. Three full mock exams, each with a proper score analysis and a plan to act on what you find. Because knowing you're weak on "hearsay expressions" is useful. Knowing which specific question types trip you up and then drilling those specifically before exam day — that's what actually moves your score.
You've already done the hard part of getting to this level. Let me give you the structure, the drills, and the strategy to walk into that exam room ready. I'll see you in the first lesson — let's get to work.
