If you're reading this, you've probably had the unsettling feeling that the economic ground beneath your career — or your organization, or your policy brief — is shifting faster than the conventional wisdom can keep up with. You're not wrong. And you're also not powerless!

Most of us were trained to navigate the economy as it exists today. We learned job frameworks built for stable trade relationships, predictable labor markets, and incremental technological change. What we weren't trained for is what's already underway: an AI automation wave unlike previous ones in its speed and scope, a global workforce being redrawn by demographic forces simultaneously pulling in opposite directions, an energy system mid-transformation with massive economic collateral on both sides, and a geopolitical order fragmenting into competing trade blocs with their own technology standards, supply chains, and rules. These aren't distant scenarios — they're present realities compounding toward a 2050 that will look radically different from the world most economic playbooks were written for.

I built Job Economy 2050 because I kept encountering the same gap: brilliant professionals who could execute within their domain but couldn't connect their work to the macro forces shaping the terrain around it. Managers who didn't see the automation pressure building in their sector. Policy analysts who cited IMF forecasts without knowing how to stress-test them. Graduates who had worked hard for credentials calibrated to a labor market that is already changing shape under their feet. This school closes that gap — not by making you a forecaster (no one can do that 100 percent reliably), but by giving you the analytical scaffolding to read structural change as it unfolds and make better decisions because of it.

Here's what we'll do together. We'll work through the ten macroeconomic megatrends most likely to define the next three decades — with real data, competing expert views, and the intellectual honesty to say when the picture is genuinely uncertain. We'll look hard at automation, not just as a threat to be feared or a promise to be hyped, but as a complex labor-market force with winners, losers, and significant policy contingencies. We'll map the demographic divergence between aging economies in the global north and youth-bulge economies in Africa and South Asia — and trace what that means for wages, migration, and growth. We'll follow the economics of the energy transition from stranded fossil assets to surging green jobs. And we'll decode the new geopolitical trade architecture — strategic decoupling, friendshoring, ASEAN and BRICS+ bloc dynamics — that is quietly redrawing the map of global commerce.

The final section of the school is where you put it all together. Using scenario planning tools, you'll build a strategic roadmap calibrated to the most credible 2050 futures — for your career, your organization, or the policy problems on your desk. The goal is not certainty. The goal is a sharper, more confident, evidence-based view of where things are heading — and a clear-eyed plan for being on the right side of it when they get there.

Come think about the future with me. The curve is already bending.
