Dawn Olson
If you've opened Claude, stared at the blank input box, and thought "okay… now what?" — I want you to know that feeling is completely normal. It's not a sign that AI isn't for you. It's a sign that nobody gave you a proper starting point. That's exactly why I built this course.
Most people who try AI assistants for the first time either ask something too vague and get a mush of generic text back, or they ask something reasonable and can't figure out why the answer isn't quite right. They shrug, assume they're not "tech people," and walk away. I think that's a shame — because the gap between a frustrating AI experience and a genuinely useful one is usually just a handful of simple skills that nobody taught them.
What I've put together here isn't a technical deep-dive or a course about how AI is built. It's a practical, friendly guide to getting real results from Claude in the tasks you already do every day — writing, researching, preparing, communicating. We'll start with your very first conversation and build steadily from there: how to ask good questions, how to write prompts that consistently produce quality results, how to use Claude as a writing partner and research assistant, and how to know when to trust what it says (and when to double-check it).
I've been deliberate about what I've left out. There's no unnecessary jargon here, no theory for theory's sake, and no assuming you care about the engineering under the hood. Every lesson is built around something you'll genuinely want to do. And by the time you reach the final section — where you build your own personal prompt library — you won't just know how to use Claude. You'll have a personalised system that saves you real time, every single week.
I'd love for you to join me. Whether you're a professional, a student, a lifelong learner, or just someone who's finally ready to figure out what all the fuss is about — there's a seat here for you. Let's get started.
