Love as Foundation: What Scripture Really Says
Before love can be lived, it must be understood. This module dismantles shallow cultural definitions of love and replaces them with a scripture-grounded, theologically rich understanding of love as the very nature of God — the foundation on which everything else is built.
- 1.1God Is Love — and So Is the Ground Beneath YouIncluded
- 1.2Love Never Ends — Understanding Love's PermanenceIncluded
- 1.3Love Builds Up — The Constructive Nature of True LoveIncluded
What Blocks Love: Naming the Walls We Live Behind
You cannot live what you cannot access. This module creates a safe, honest space to identify the internal barriers — wounds, beliefs, patterns, and fears — that prevent students from both giving and receiving love fully. Awareness precedes transformation.
- 2.1The Wounds That Taught You Love Was UnsafeIncluded
- 2.2The Habits That Quietly Keep Love OutIncluded
- 2.3When Hurt Makes You a Gatekeeper of LoveIncluded
Love as Daily Practice: Showing Up in Hard Relationships
This is where theology becomes practice. Students move from understanding love to applying it in the most challenging relational terrain of their actual lives — family systems, friendships, communities, and the relationship with self. The goal is not perfection but consistent, scripture-anchored practice.
- 3.1Loving Your Family Without Losing YourselfIncluded
- 3.2Loving Yourself: The Practice You've Been SkippingIncluded
- 3.3Loving Beyond Comfort: Community and the StrangerIncluded
Love as the Unifier: Healing Division and Brokenness
Love is not just personal — it is political, communal, and prophetic. This module equips students to use love as an active force for healing in the face of conflict, division, polarization, and brokenness. Drawing on the course's core theme that love is the great unifier, students learn to be bridge-builders.
- 4.1When Love Meets Conflict: A Different Way ThroughIncluded
- 4.2Love Across Difference: Bridging What DividesIncluded
- 4.3Forgiveness as Love's Hardest and Holiest WorkIncluded
Rooted in Beloved: Building an Identity Secured in Love
Transformation is not sustained by willpower — it is sustained by identity. This module grounds students in the unshakeable truth that they are deeply, permanently loved by God, and helps them build an inner life so anchored in that truth that their love for others flows from abundance rather than deficit.
- 5.1You Are the Beloved — Receiving What You've Only BelievedIncluded
- 5.2From Scarcity to Abundance: How Security Changes EverythingIncluded
Your Love Framework: Carrying Love Through Every Season
Love is not a destination — it is a way of traveling. In this final module, students synthesize everything they have learned into a personal, portable love framework they can carry into grief, change, loss, and every season of life ahead. The course ends not with graduation but with commissioning.
- 6.1Love Through Loss: When Everything ChangesIncluded
- 6.2Building Your Personal Love FrameworkIncluded
- 6.3Commissioned to Love: Going Forward as a UnifierIncluded

David Clilverd
Maybe you picked up Love Is The Unifier because something inside you already knew — that love is supposed to be more than what you've experienced so far. More sustaining. More powerful. More real.
I wrote that book because I had to. Because I watched what happens when love is absent — in families, in communities, in people's relationship with themselves and with God. And I watched what happens when it's present. The difference is everything.
Here's what I know to be true: scripture doesn't say God feels loving or God shows love when things go well. It says God is love. That's an identity statement. And it follows that whoever lives in love lives in God. That means love isn't a reward for the spiritually advanced — it's the atmosphere we're all invited to breathe.
But most of us were never taught how. We were shaped by fear, by performance, by the wounds other people carried and passed on to us. We learned to protect ourselves. We learned that love can be taken away. We learned, somewhere along the way, that we might not be fully worthy of it.
This school exists to gently, firmly, and honestly dismantle that. Together, we come back to the truth that love builds up — it never tears down. That it never ends. That it is the great unifier in a world that is fracturing in every direction.
I'm not here to give you a formula or a five-step program. I'm here to walk alongside you as we let love do what it was always designed to do: sustain us, heal us, connect us, and send us back into the world changed. I hope you'll join me.
