Learn to Love Yourself the Way God Already Does
A Scripture-rooted journey through self-worth, healing, and relationships — for faith-driven adults ready to stop striving for love and start living from it.

My deepest prayer for every student is that they leave not just knowing God loves them, but finally, fully believing it.

A note from your teacher
Cory Pariseau
Maybe you've known the verse since you were a child. "For God so loved the world." You've heard it in sermons, seen it on banners, maybe even had it memorized before you could fully read. And yet — if I asked you right now, in the quiet of your own heart, whether you truly feel loved by God, what would you say?
For so many believers, there's a gap. A quiet, painful gap between what we know in our heads and what we actually carry in our hearts. We believe in God's love as a doctrine. But receiving it — letting it reach the places where shame lives, where old wounds echo, where the voice that says "you're not enough" has been speaking for years — that's a whole different thing. I know that gap. I've lived in it. And I've walked alongside so many people who live there too.
That's why Love University exists. It's not another course about trying harder or doing more. It's an invitation — unhurried, Scripture-soaked, and honest — to let God's love do what it was always meant to do: heal you, redefine you, and then flow through you into every relationship and every corner of your life. We start at the very foundation — what God's love actually is and how it's revealed across the whole sweep of Scripture — because I've found that so many of us have inherited a picture of God's love that is smaller, harsher, or more conditional than the real thing. Getting that right changes everything.
From there, we do the interior work together. We look honestly at shame, at guilt, at the stories we tell ourselves — and we bring the Gospel to bear on every single one of them. We talk about what it actually means to love yourself in a way that's biblical, not self-indulgent — caring for the body, mind, and soul God entrusted to you, setting boundaries that honor your God-given worth, resting without guilt. And then we turn outward: to the people in your life, the relationships that stretch you, the community you're called to build and belong to.
I want to be straightforward with you: this school will ask something of you. It'll ask you to be honest with yourself, to sit with some uncomfortable truths, and to open your hands and receive something you may have spent years feeling unworthy of. But I'll be right here with you — every step, every lesson — as a fellow traveler who simply walked this road a little earlier and can't stop talking about what I found.
You are loved before you do a single thing to deserve it. Come and let that truth take root. I can't wait to walk this journey with you.
