Number Sense & Mathematical Mindset
Establishes the numerical and conceptual foundation every learner needs before touching algebra or geometry. Students build fluency with number types, master the rules that govern all arithmetic, and adopt a growth-oriented problem-solving identity from day one — preventing the 'I'm just not a math person' mindset before it can take hold.
- 1.1Whole Numbers, Integers & the Number LineIncluded
- 1.2Fractions, Decimals & Percentages — ConnectedIncluded
- 1.3Order of Operations & Mathematical LanguageIncluded
- 1.4A Personal Problem-Solving FrameworkIncluded
Algebra — Equations, Inequalities & the Power of Unknowns
The heart of the course for the 'confidently solve algebraic equations and inequalities' outcome. Students move deliberately from the meaning of a variable all the way to multi-step inequalities and word-problem translation, with each lesson building directly on the last. The sequencing ensures no algebraic move is performed before its conceptual basis is established.
- 2.1Variables, Expressions & SimplifyingIncluded
- 2.2Solving Linear Equations — One & Two StepsIncluded
- 2.3Multi-Step & Literal EquationsIncluded
- 2.4Inequalities — Solving, Graphing & InterpretingIncluded
- 2.5Word Problems — Translating Language into AlgebraIncluded
Graphs, Functions & the Coordinate World
Delivers the 'interpret and construct graphs, functions, and coordinate systems' outcome by building from plotting a single point to analysing and comparing linear functions. Placed after algebra so students can immediately connect equations to their visual representations — a sequencing choice that dramatically deepens understanding of both.
- 3.1The Coordinate Plane & Plotting PointsIncluded
- 3.2Slope — The Language of ChangeIncluded
- 3.3Linear Equations — Graphing & InterpretingIncluded
- 3.4Introduction to FunctionsIncluded
Geometry — Shape, Space, Proof & Measurement
Addresses the geometry outcome comprehensively — angles and logical reasoning, triangle properties and proofs, area, perimeter, the Pythagorean theorem, and 3D measurement. Placed after coordinate graphing so students can use the coordinate plane as a geometric tool (e.g., distance, proofs). The proof strand is woven throughout rather than isolated, making logical reasoning a habit.
- 4.1Angles, Lines & Logical ReasoningIncluded
- 4.2Triangles — Properties, Congruence & SimilarityIncluded
- 4.3Area & Perimeter — Deriving the FormulasIncluded
- 4.4The Pythagorean Theorem — Proof & ApplicationIncluded
- 4.5Surface Area, Volume & 3D ThinkingIncluded
Statistics & Probability — Making Sense of Data
Delivers the 'grasp the intuition behind statistics and probability to make sense of data in everyday life' outcome. Placed after geometry because students now have strong graphical literacy and can meaningfully interpret data displays. Statistical reasoning is taught as a critical life skill, not a mechanical calculation exercise.
- 5.1Collecting & Displaying DataIncluded
- 5.2Measures of Center & SpreadIncluded
- 5.3Introduction to ProbabilityIncluded
- 5.4Interpreting Data & Statistical Reasoning in Real LifeIncluded
Putting It All Together — Advanced Problem-Solving & Mathematical Confidence
The culminating module that ties every prior topic together and explicitly delivers the 'build a personal problem-solving framework' outcome. Students confront problems that intentionally cross module boundaries, develop metacognitive awareness of their own mathematical thinking, and demonstrate mastery through an authentic real-world capstone project. The framework introduced in Module 1 is revisited, refined, and owned.
- 6.1Cross-Topic Problem SolvingIncluded
- 6.2Tackling Unfamiliar Problems — Strategies & MetacognitionIncluded
- 6.3Capstone Project — Real-World Math in ActionIncluded
Who it's for
Is this you?
The Adult Returner
You haven't touched math since school and need to rebuild your foundations without judgment — this course starts exactly where you are and moves at your pace.
The Struggling Student
You're in high school or college and the gaps in your foundation are quietly making every new topic harder — this school traces back to where understanding broke down and fixes it.
The Career Changer
You're pivoting into a field that requires quantitative skills and need to get your math up to speed before a course, certification, or new role.
The Curious Self-Improver
You want to genuinely understand the statistics, graphs, and numbers you encounter in daily life — not just nod along and hope for the best.
The Exam Prepper
You're preparing for a standardized test and want real understanding of algebra, geometry, and data — not just memorized procedures that crumble under pressure.
The Parent Brushing Up
Your kids are starting to bring home math homework you can't confidently help with, and you want to relearn it properly so you can actually support them.

A note from your teacher
Geordano
I know exactly what it feels like to stare at a math problem and feel that familiar knot in your stomach — the one that says I'm just not a math person. Maybe that feeling goes back to a single confusing classroom moment that never got resolved. Maybe it's been building for years. Either way, I want you to know: that knot isn't evidence of a limitation. It's evidence that something was never properly explained to you. That's what I'm here to fix.
I built Master the Math because I kept seeing the same pattern. Smart, capable people — adults returning to education, students hitting a wall, self-improvers who wanted to understand the world more clearly — all convinced that math was a talent they simply didn't have. But when we slowed down and traced back to where understanding actually broke down, it was almost always a missing foundation. A fraction concept that got glossed over. A variable that was never made intuitive. One shaky rung on the ladder, and everything above it felt impossible. The answer wasn't to push harder. It was to go back and build it right.
That's the philosophy behind every lesson in this school. We don't rush to the formula. We ask why does this formula exist? We don't just solve the equation — we understand what it's telling us. We derive the area formulas in geometry instead of memorizing them, because when you see where a formula comes from, you never forget it and you never misapply it. We translate word problems out loud, step by step, until the language of math feels as natural as reading a sentence. And woven through everything is a personal problem-solving framework — a way of approaching any unfamiliar problem — so that this school doesn't just teach you content, it changes how you think.
I also know that adults and returning learners need something different from what a traditional classroom offers. You need patience without condescension. Progress without pressure. Explanations that meet you where you are, not where a curriculum committee decided you should be. Every lesson in this school is written with that in mind — clear, warm, and genuinely on your side.
If you've picked up this page, some part of you believes you can do this. I believe it too — not as a motivational phrase, but because I've seen what happens when the right explanation finally lands. The relief. The oh, THAT'S what it means moment. That moment is waiting for you in here. Come find it.
