Master Your FODMAP

"I don't want you to just follow a list — I want you to understand your gut so deeply that you never need to fear food again."Monica

What you'll learn

What you'll be able to do

  • Explain the science of FODMAPs — fermentable carbohydrates, osmotic load, and gut fermentation — in your own words so you can make confident, informed food decisions.
  • Identify your personal FODMAP triggers using the structured 3-phase elimination and reintroduction protocol, and build a customised safe-food list.
  • Plan and prepare a full week of low-FODMAP meals that are nutritionally complete, satisfying, and free from inflammation-driving foods.
  • Decode food labels, restaurant menus, and ingredient lists to spot hidden high-FODMAP culprits in everyday eating situations.
  • Understand the gut-inflammation connection — including the roles of the gut microbiome, intestinal permeability, and the gut-brain axis — and how FODMAP management directly addresses each.
  • Create a long-term, sustainable eating lifestyle beyond the elimination phase that reintroduces foods safely and maximises dietary variety without symptom relapse.

1

The Science of FODMAPs — What's Actually Happening in Your Gut

Establishes the essential biochemical and physiological foundation before any dietary changes are attempted. Clients learn precisely what FODMAPs are, how they trigger symptoms through osmotic and fermentation mechanisms, and whether the protocol is appropriate for their individual health situation — giving them the 'why' that sustains long-term commitment.

  • 1.1What Are FODMAPs? A Biochemistry BreakdownIncluded
  • 1.2Osmotic Load, Fermentation, and the Symptom ChainIncluded
  • 1.3Who Is FODMAP For? Conditions, Candidates, and ContraindicationsIncluded
2

Inflammation, the Gut Microbiome, and the Gut-Brain Axis

Addresses the target outcome linking gut biology to systemic inflammation — a prerequisite for understanding why FODMAP management is about far more than digestive comfort. Placed before the protocol so clients understand the biological stakes, which deepens motivation and contextualises every food decision they will later make.

  • 2.1The Gut-Inflammation Connection — From Leaky Gut to Systemic FlaresIncluded
  • 2.2Your Microbiome — The Ecosystem FODMAP ProtectsIncluded
  • 2.3The Gut-Brain Axis — Stress, Signals, and Symptom AmplificationIncluded
3

The 3-Phase FODMAP Protocol — Elimination, Reintroduction, and Personalisation

The operational core of the curriculum. With the science and motivation firmly established in Modules 1 and 2, clients now receive a precise, step-by-step protocol for executing all three phases safely and effectively. This module directly delivers the outcome of identifying personal triggers and building a customised safe-food list.

  • 3.1Phase 1 — The Elimination Phase Done RightIncluded
  • 3.2Phase 2 — Systematic Reintroduction of FODMAP GroupsIncluded
  • 3.3Phase 3 — Building Your Personalised Long-Term Food BlueprintIncluded
4

Decoding Food — Labels, Menus, and Hidden Culprits

Bridges laboratory knowledge and real-world execution. Placed after the protocol module so clients understand exactly what they are scanning for and why. Covers the two most common sources of accidental FODMAP exposure: packaged food labels and eating outside the home. Directly delivers the outcome of decoding labels, menus, and ingredient lists with confidence.

  • 4.1Mastering Food Labels — The FODMAP Ingredient CodeIncluded
  • 4.2Eating Out, Travelling, and Social Eating Without AnxietyIncluded
5

FODMAP Meal Planning and Kitchen Mastery

Converts knowledge into daily practice. Placed after label-decoding so clients can shop and stock confidently before building their meal plans. Addresses nutritional completeness, culinary skill, flavour — the three most common barriers to sustained adherence — and delivers the outcome of planning and preparing a full, satisfying, nutritionally complete low-FODMAP week.

  • 5.1Building a FODMAP-Safe Kitchen — Pantry, Tools, and Flavour StrategyIncluded
  • 5.2Designing a Nutritionally Complete Low-FODMAP WeekIncluded
  • 5.3Recipes, Substitutions, and Adapting Family FavouritesIncluded
6

Sustaining Your Health — Long-Term Strategy, Mindset, and Relapse Prevention

Completes the curriculum arc by addressing the post-elimination life that the previous five modules have been building toward. Covers dietary expansion, identity and mindset, healthcare collaboration, and relapse prevention — ensuring the investment made in the protocol translates into durable health outcomes rather than a temporary fix. Directly delivers the outcome of creating a sustainable long-term eating lifestyle.

  • 6.1Life Beyond Elimination — Expanding Your Diet Safely Over TimeIncluded
  • 6.2Mindset, Self-Advocacy, and Working With Your Healthcare TeamIncluded

Who it's for

Is this you?

Newly diagnosed IBS sufferers

You've just received a diagnosis and need a clear, science-grounded starting point rather than a pile of conflicting internet advice.

If you're reading this, I'd guess you're tired. Not just physically tired from the flares and the bloating and the unpredictability — but tired of trying things that half-work, tired of being handed a vague "avoid these foods" list with no explanation, and tired of feeling like your body is the problem rather than the missing information.

I designed this course because that frustration is completely understandable, and completely fixable. The low-FODMAP approach is one of the most rigorously researched dietary interventions for gut conditions in existence. But somewhere between the research and the real world, most people receive it stripped of its science — a list of yes and no foods with no explanation of why, and no real map for what comes after the elimination phase. That gap is where people get stuck, and it's what this course is built to close.

We start at the cellular level — not to be academic for its own sake, but because when you understand that FODMAPs trigger symptoms through osmotic pull and fermentation-driven gas, you stop feeling like your gut is betraying you and start seeing it as a system responding predictably to specific inputs. That shift in understanding changes everything about how you approach food. We then move into the gut-inflammation connection, the microbiome, and the gut-brain axis, because your symptoms don't live in a vacuum — stress, gut bacteria, and intestinal permeability are all part of the picture, and you deserve to understand all of it.

From there, we get practical. You'll follow the 3-phase elimination and reintroduction protocol the right way — systematically, with the knowledge of what you're testing and why. You'll learn to read a food label like a clinician, handle a restaurant menu without anxiety, and plan a full week of meals that are genuinely nourishing, not just "safe." And crucially, we don't stop at the elimination phase, because that phase is never the destination. The goal is a long-term, flexible, varied diet built around your personal tolerances — and the mindset to maintain it.

I want you to leave this course not just feeling better, but understanding why you feel better — because that understanding is what keeps you well for the long term. You'll be equipped to adapt when life changes, to advocate for yourself in medical appointments, and to help the people around you understand what you're doing and why. That's the transformation I'm here for. I'm glad you're here too.
