That's exactly why I created Math Trailblazers.

I believe that 8 and 9 year olds are built for adventure. They want to discover things, solve puzzles, and feel like they're really good at something. So instead of drilling facts in isolation, we go on a trail together. We use area models to make multiplication visual. We become detectives to crack word problems. We collect real data from our own homes and turn it into graphs.
