Tracy Burke
If you're staring down a certification exam while also juggling shifts, classes, or a family — or all three — I want you to know that I see exactly where you are right now. The MA certification process can feel overwhelming because the content is genuinely broad: one exam asks you to know pharmacology, venipuncture technique, HIPAA regulations, ICD-10 coding, and EKG basics. That's not a small ask. And doing it while your real life keeps moving? That takes real commitment.
That's precisely why I built this school the way I did. Everything here is organized around the actual content domains tested on the CCMA, CMA, and RMA — not a general overview of the healthcare field, but the specific knowledge and skills you will be tested on. We start with foundations because they matter: medical terminology and body systems aren't just background noise, they're the language the rest of the exam is written in. From there, we move through clinical procedures, lab skills, administrative operations, and medical law with the same standard: clinically accurate, exam-relevant, and explained clearly enough that it actually sticks.
I also know that a lot of certification prep stops at memorization and calls it a day. That's not enough. The situational questions on these exams — the ones that describe a patient scenario and ask what you should do — require you to understand the why behind the content, not just the what. So throughout this school, we connect knowledge to real practice: you'll see HIPAA rules applied to actual patient interactions, scope-of-practice concepts tied to real clinical decisions, and coding logic grounded in how billing actually works in a medical office.
The final section of this school is where everything you've learned gets pressure-tested. Two full-length timed practice exams. Score analysis that tells you where to focus, not just how you did overall. High-yield mnemonics and rapid-review tools for the content that tends to slip. And a practical test-day strategy that covers the logistics and mindset piece — because knowing the material and performing well on exam day are two different skills, and you deserve to be ready for both.
You chose this field because you want to help people. This school exists to get you credentialed, confident, and ready to do exactly that. Let's get to work.
