Foundations of Movement & Play (Ages 2–5)

The entry point for every athlete's journey. This module builds fundamental movement literacy through play-based exploration, giving toddlers and preschoolers the neuromotor foundation they need before any sport-specific skill is introduced. Lessons are caregiver-assisted, sensory-rich, and trauma-informed, with inclusive adaptations embedded throughout for children with physical, cognitive, or developmental differences. Aligns with SHAPE America's National Standards for Physical Education and CDC developmental milestone guidelines.

Multi-Sport Skill Builder (Ages 6–9)

Children in this band are ready for structured multi-sport sampling—the most research-supported approach for long-term athlete development (LTAD). This module introduces the core American sports landscape through simplified, inclusive versions, builds foundational rules literacy, and establishes a safety-first culture. Adaptive sports (wheelchair soccer, beep baseball, unified bocce) are integrated as peer-alongside options, not separate tracks, so all athletes learn together. Aligns with US Youth Soccer, USA Basketball, Little League International, USA Track & Field, and Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools frameworks.

Sport-Specific Skill Mastery & Competitive Rules (Ages 10–13)

Athletes in early adolescence are ready for deeper sport-specific technical refinement, positional understanding, and meaningful rule application. This module delivers technical depth across the full spectrum of American sports—court, field, water, mat, and gymnastics—while integrating Special Olympics unified pathways and governing body rule sets (NFHS, USA Gymnastics, USA Swimming, USA Volleyball, NFHS Wrestling). Adaptive rule sets are taught within every lesson, not appended afterward. Athletes also begin understanding athlete rights, SafeSport obligations, and the responsibility of representing a team.

  • 3.1Football: Skill Positions, Play Design & Safety RulesIncluded
  • 3.2Basketball: Offensive Systems, Defensive Schemes & NFHS RulesIncluded

This module delivers a science-based, periodized approach to physical development spanning the full athlete lifespan from early adolescence through age 21, with adaptive modifications embedded in every lesson for wheelchair athletes, amputee athletes, and Special Olympics athletes. Lessons follow a logical prerequisite sequence: movement quality before load, load before speed, speed before power, and all underpinned by recovery and nutrition. Aligns with NSCA Youth Resistance Training Position Statement, ACSM guidelines, USA Weightlifting Youth Safety standards, and Dietitians of Canada Sport Nutrition guidelines.

  • 4.1Foundations of Youth Strength & Resistance TrainingIncluded

The capstone performance and leadership module for high school and collegiate-age athletes. Learners develop the cognitive and tactical sophistication to compete at the varsity, collegiate prep, and elite adaptive levels—reading opponents, calling adjustments, and leading teams under pressure. Officiating is treated as a rigorous discipline, not an afterthought, with a full certification preparation track aligned to NFHS Officials Education Program, USA Basketball Officials, and other national officiating bodies. Mental performance and life-after-sport transition are addressed as essential athlete competencies. The module revisits and deepens every sport from previous modules at an advanced level.

Crucially, it is explicitly open to ALL ages and ability levels, with lesson content scaffolded from introductory to elite. Pauline Smith EdD

You're here because you care — about an athlete who deserves the best possible foundation, the right guidance at the right stage, and a program that actually sees them for who they are.

Maybe you're a parent watching your toddler run at full speed in every wrong direction, wondering how to turn that energy into something real. Maybe you're a coach working with a mixed-ability team and searching for resources that don't require you to choose between your traditional athletes and your adaptive ones. Maybe you're a teenager who has outgrown "just practice harder" and wants to understand the why behind conditioning, film study, and decision-making. Maybe you're a young adult preparing to compete, officiate, or transition, and you've never found a program that speaks to you like a peer.

All of those athletes — and all of those people in their corner — belong here.

National Academy of Sports Analytics was built around a single conviction: that structured, developmentally appropriate athletic development shouldn't be a luxury available only to athletes with elite access, expensive private coaches, or the right zip code. From foundational movement literacy for a two-year-old to advanced officiating knowledge for a twenty-one-year-old, every module in this curriculum exists because that developmental stage deserves real instruction — not improvised advice, not watered-down content, and not a one-size-fits-all approach that quietly leaves half the athletes out.

Adaptive sports aren't a section we bolted on. Wheelchair basketball, amputee athletics, Beep Baseball, adaptive aquatics, Special Olympics competition preparation — these pathways are full, first-class tracks in this Academy. Because every athlete who shows up deserves a curriculum that shows up for them completely.

Whether you are the athlete, the parent, the caregiver, or the coach — you've found the right place. The work starts here, and I'm genuinely excited to do it with you.
