Freddy Foster

If you've recently stepped into the CEO role — or you're about to — I want to say something that almost nobody says out loud: the job is operationally much harder than it looks from the outside, and almost no one prepares you for it.

You can read every leadership book ever written and still have no idea how to design a weekly rhythm that keeps fifteen people aligned without consuming your entire calendar. You can be a brilliant strategic thinker and still watch your annual plan dissolve by February because there's no real execution infrastructure underneath it. You can be a strong communicator and still dread the performance conversation with the VP who's been underdelivering for six months. These aren't soft failures — they're operational gaps, and they're almost universal among first-time CEOs.

I built this school because those gaps are fixable. Not with inspiration, not with vision statements, but with a real operating system: a weekly cadence, a scorecard that tells the truth, a planning process with teeth, a delegation framework that actually transfers ownership, and a communication standard that holds up under pressure. These are learnable, repeatable, and improvable — and working through them is the actual work of becoming an effective CEO.

What you'll find here is direct, practical, and demanding. I have no patience for management clichés or frameworks that sound rigorous but collapse on contact with reality. Everything in this curriculum is built around what a real operating CEO does — week to week, quarter to quarter — to keep a company aligned, honest about its data, and executing against a plan. If you want a comfortable leadership philosophy, this isn't it. If you want to become genuinely excellent at running a company, you're in the right place.

The seat you're sitting in is consequential. The people on your team, the customers you serve, the company you're building — they all depend on you operating well. That's not a reason to feel overwhelmed. It's the best reason I know to take this seriously, get the fundamentals right, and build an operating system that holds. Let's get to work.
