Teach your dog to roll over, recall, and read your mind

Step-by-step positive training that turns everyday moments into tricks, games, and a bond your dog can't get enough of — no experience required, tail wags guaranteed. To be successful, practice all lessons a minimum of 1-2 sessions of 15 minutes, each day until you and your pet are successful. Once successful, keep building on that communication by doing it as often as possible. Daily is best. Remember, you are building communication between you and your pup that will enhance your relationship. Your pup wants to do good but they must be taught what that is or they will teach you what THEY think it is which may not be acceptable. We give you the tools to build the bridge to the relationship you both want. NOTE TO YOU - All training classes virtual or in person, train and educate YOU, the OWNER to train your pet.
We give the tools but it is up to you to use them.
To be successful, an owner must learn, put in the time and consistency to train your pet. Without this time and consistency until the pet learns, understands and does the lesson successfully, the pet will not be successful in their lessons.
These lessons do not teach your pet. YOU, the owner teaches your pet. Because of this, We can not guarantee your pet will learn.
Once purchased, all lessons are non-refundable.

Dorinne Whynott

Hey there, fellow dog lover — I'm so glad you found your way here.

If you're reading this, I'm guessing you're somewhere I've been myself: you adore your dog, you know there's more potential in that wagging tail than "sit" on repeat, but you're not quite sure where to go next. Maybe your pup has too much energy and not enough outlet. Maybe you've tried a few YouTube tutorials and ended up more confused than when you started. Maybe you just adopted a puppy and you're equal parts thrilled and mildly terrified. All of that is completely valid — and you're in exactly the right place.

I created Pawsitive Tricks because I believe training should feel like play, not pressure. Not for you, and especially not for your dog. Everything in this school is built on positive reinforcement — which isn't just the kindest way to train, it's genuinely the most effective. When your dog understands that learning new things leads to treats, games, and your beaming proud face, they become eager participants. That's when the magic really happens.

Here's what I want you to know about how this school is structured: we don't skip the foundations. Before we get to the fun stuff — the spin, the roll over, the dramatic play dead — we spend real time on how dogs learn, how to read their body language, and how to build impulse control and recall. Those aren't boring prerequisites. They're the reason every trick you teach later clicks into place so much more smoothly. Think of them as cheat codes for everything that comes next.

I've also made sure there's something here for every stage. Got an 8-week-old puppy? We've got you — age-appropriate games, bite inhibition, crate confidence, socialization. Got a two-year-old rescue who's never heard the word "spin"? Perfect candidate. Got a dog who's bored out of their mind and chewing everything in sight? The enrichment section — scent games, DIY puzzles, building a daily routine — was made for exactly that situation.

My door (and the community feed!) is always open. Come with your questions, your progress videos, your "wait, why did that work?!" moments. This is a judgment-free, wag-friendly zone, and I cannot wait to see what you and your dog build together. Let's go train some tricks. 🐾
