Reprogram the Robot You Didn't Know You Were
A rigorous, practice-first curriculum built on Robert Anton Wilson's Prometheus Rising — work through the 8-circuit model, excavate your conditioning, and consciously redesign how your nervous system engages with reality. For people who want to do the exercises, not just admire the ideas.

"The goal isn't to agree with Wilson — it's to become harder to fool, especially by yourself."— Joseph Riggio

What you'll learn
What you'll be able to do
- Identify which of Wilson's 8 neurological circuits are running your default perceptions, emotions, and behaviors at any given moment.
- Recognize and consciously step outside your own 'reality tunnel' — the invisible filter of beliefs, imprints, and conditioning that shapes what you perceive as real.
- Apply the 'maybe logic' framework to suspend certainty, hold multiple models simultaneously, and make more adaptive decisions under ambiguity.
- Complete the hands-on neurological exercises (coin flip practices, imprint archaeology, metaprogramming rituals) drawn directly from Prometheus Rising to rewire conditioned responses.
- Distinguish between stimulus-response automaticity and genuine self-directed choice, giving you moment-to-moment agency over your psychological reactions.
- Design a personal reality-engagement map — a living document of your circuits, imprints, and chosen metaprograms — to guide ongoing psychological self-evolution.

Who it's for
Is this you?
The Prometheus Rising Reader
You've read the book (maybe twice), found it electrifying, and want a structured way to actually do the exercises instead of just admiring the ideas.
The Practicing Philosopher
You take ideas seriously as tools for living and want a rigorous framework — not pop-psychology — for examining your own cognition and conditioning.
The Self-Directed Psychonaut
You've had peak or non-ordinary states and want a coherent, sober model for integrating and working with expanded consciousness in daily life.
The Writer or Artist
You want to understand how reality tunnels and imprinting shape creative perception — and learn to move between them deliberately, not accidentally.
The Independent Thinker
You're skeptical of ideological certainty wherever you find it, and maybe logic — treating your own beliefs as provisional hypotheses — feels like intellectual oxygen.
The Seeker Ready to Do the Work
You've explored consciousness through reading, therapy, or practice and want a concrete, practice-first curriculum that builds real psychological self-mastery.

Joseph Riggio
If you're here, I'm guessing you've had the experience of reading something by Wilson and thinking: this explains everything — and then closing the book and watching yourself be just as robotic as you were before you opened it.
I've been there. Prometheus Rising is one of those rare texts that seems to genuinely threaten the architecture of your conditioned self. The 8-circuit model, the reality tunnel concept, the Thinker and the Prover — on first contact, these ideas feel like they should rewire you on the spot. And then you wake up the next morning and Circuit 2 is already running its dominance-and-status calculations over breakfast before you've had a chance to think.
The gap between understanding Wilson's model and actually being able to use it — in real time, on yourself, when it's uncomfortable — is what this curriculum is designed to close. I built Prometheus Rising as a structured practice rather than an intellectual survey because that's the only form in which Wilson's framework actually delivers what it promises. The coin-flip exercises are in there. The imprint archaeology is in there. The metaprogramming rituals are in there. Not as curiosities to read about, but as work to do.
What I ask of you is the same thing Wilson asked of his readers: approach your own nervous system as a researcher, not as a believer or a skeptic. Hold the 8-circuit model as a useful maybe — a map worth field-testing, not a doctrine to adopt. The goal isn't to agree with Wilson. The goal is to become harder to fool — especially by yourself.
The Reality-Engagement Map you'll build over the course of this curriculum is the most honest piece of self-knowledge work I know of. It won't tell you who you are. It'll show you how you've been operating — and open up a conversation with yourself about whether that's what you'd actually choose, if you were choosing.
Come ready to be a fellow researcher. The laboratory is your own mind, and the experiment is already running. Let's get you into the control room.
