The Therapy-Curious Self-Developer

She's done some therapy and loves personal growth content, but wants structured, practical tools she can build a real daily habit around.

The Quietly Exhausted Carer

She gives generously to everyone around her and is ready to finally direct some of that compassion — and patience — inward.

Sherrie L Holmes

If you're reading this, I want you to know something: I'm not going to tell you to "be kinder to yourself" and leave it at that. Because if it were that simple, you'd have done it already. You're not here because you lack awareness. You're here because you have too much of a certain kind — the kind that loops, critiques, second-guesses, and holds everything you do up to a standard that quietly keeps moving higher.

I know that place. I know what it's like to have a day that went well by every external measure and still spend the drive home picking it apart. I know the particular exhaustion of being your own harshest critic — how it masquerades as high standards, as conscientiousness, as just caring a lot. And I know that being told to "stop overthinking" is about as helpful as being told to "just relax." Which is to say: not at all.

That's why I built Quiet the Critic the way I did. Not as a feel-good pep talk, and not as a clinical deep-dive full of terms you need to Google. As a real coaching experience — warm, honest, practical — that treats you like the intelligent, self-aware woman you already are, and gives you actual tools to work with. We start by getting specific: naming your inner critic, understanding its favourite moves, and figuring out what sets it off. Because you can't change what you haven't clearly seen. Then we go deeper — into the overthinking loop, into perfectionism, into self-doubt — and at each stage, I hand you something concrete to do.

By the time you reach Day 7, you won't just have had some nice reflections. You'll have a personal Inner Voice Toolkit built around your overthinking style, a self-compassion practice that actually fits into a real day, and a framework you can use every time the critic gets loud again. The goal isn't silence for its own sake — it's discernment. Knowing which inner voice to listen to, and having the confidence to let the rest go.

If you've been waiting for something that takes you seriously — not just your struggles, but your intelligence and your capacity to genuinely change — this is it. I'd love to walk through these 7 days with you.
