What you'll learn

What you'll be able to do

  • Design and defend a phased enterprise data warehousing strategy with governance checkpoints, lineage controls, and retention policies fit for board-level scrutiny.
  • Evaluate and roadmap a lakehouse architecture that unifies AI/ML workloads, structured and unstructured data, and BI requirements within a governed framework.
  • Build a streaming data framework that defines service levels, resilience objectives, and event-processing pipelines for fraud detection, predictive maintenance, and operational monitoring.
  • Deploy a real-time analytics implementation plan featuring executive KPI dashboards, anomaly detection alerts, and forecasting models tied directly to business response metrics.
  • Produce a board-ready enterprise data risk register and presentation that addresses cybersecurity safeguards, data quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and budget assumptions.
  • Lead a ten-year enterprise analytics modernization vision — integrating workforce preparation, sustainability recommendations, and communication planning — demonstrable as a capstone portfolio.

If you are reading this, you already know the meetings I am talking about.

The vendor roadshow where you can feel the room slipping because no one at the table can push back on the architecture claims with specificity. The board presentation where the data risk slide is either too thin to be credible or so technical it produces silence. The transformation initiative that loses momentum because the executive sponsor can articulate the vision but cannot hold the governance conversation that the initiative actually requires. These are not failures of effort. They are failures of the precise, structured fluency that this program is designed to build.

I built this curriculum for leaders who are already operating at a senior level — CTOs, CDOs, VPs of Data and Analytics, IT Directors — but who recognize that the pace of change in data architecture has outrun the frameworks most of us learned on our way up. Lakehouse architecture, streaming event-processing, real-time anomaly detection, AI/ML governance at scale — these are not emerging topics anymore. They are the terrain of today's enterprise data decisions. And the leaders who can engage with them rigorously, not just at the vision level but at the trade-off and accountability level, are the ones who get to drive those decisions rather than ratify them.

Every module in this program is organized around a principle I have applied in enterprise settings: strategy without a deliverable is a conversation, not a commitment. That is why each stage of the program produces an executive artifact — a phased warehouse modernization plan, a governed lakehouse roadmap, a streaming data governance document, a real-time analytics implementation plan, an enterprise data risk register, and ultimately a ten-year modernization vision as your capstone. You will leave with a portfolio of documents that are immediately applicable to the organization you are leading right now.

The governance thread runs through everything here, deliberately. Data lineage, retention policy, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity framing, ROI quantification, audit readiness — these are not check-the-box items in this program. They are the substance of executive accountability in modern data leadership, and I treat them that way.

If you are ready to move from fluent observer to confident architect of your organization's data future, this is the program I built for that transition. I look forward to working through it with you.
