Who it's for

Is this you?

The widowed rebuilder

She's done the 'right' things after losing her partner, but still feels like she's watching her own life from a distance and is ready to find her way back into it.

The quietly divorced

Her marriage ended years ago and everyone else has moved on — she's still carrying the identity loss and needs a structured way to write the next chapter.

The grief that won't name itself

He lost a career, a sense of purpose, or a version of himself he can't quite get back, and finally understands that what he's carrying is grief — even without a funeral.

The one who avoids the wave

She knows she's been staying busy on purpose — and is ready to stop outrunning her pain and learn what it actually means to meet it with presence.

The long-term griever

He lost someone years ago and still hasn't fully returned to life, and now recognizes that the story grief told him has quietly become the story he tells himself.

The caregiver finally grieving

She spent so long holding space for someone else's illness or dying that she never had room for her own grief — and now that the caregiving is over, she doesn't know where to start.

If you're reading this, I think I know something about where you are right now.

You're not falling apart — you've actually been holding it together remarkably well, all things considered. But there's a part of you that feels stuck in the in-between: not fully in the grief, not fully out of it either. You go through the motions of living while quietly wondering if this is just what life feels like now. Maybe joy shows up and you feel guilty for it. Maybe you've told the story of your loss so many times that you've started to confuse it with the story of who you are.

I built Say Yes to Now because I know that place from the inside. And I know that what people in grief are rarely given is a structured, honest, compassionate path — not a quick fix, not a five stages checklist, but a real curriculum for learning how to be present with pain, question the narratives that pain builds, and slowly, intentionally, reopen to life. That's what this school is. Every lesson, every practice, every invitation to write and reflect was designed to meet you where you actually are — in your body, in your stories, in your fear that moving forward means leaving behind.

What I want you to know is this: you don't have to be ready to be "over it." You just have to be willing to look at it differently. The school begins exactly there — with what grief is really asking of you, not what you think you should be feeling. From that honest starting point, we move through the body's wisdom, the beliefs that got built in the dark, the narratives that deserve to be rewritten, and the daily practice of living awake — moment by moment, choice by choice.

The final chapter of this school is called "Saying Yes." Not because yes is easy, or because it erases what you've been through, but because there comes a point where the most loving thing you can do — for yourself, and for the people and memories you carry — is to step back into your own life with intention. That's the transformation this school is here to walk you toward. I'm honored to walk it with you.
