If you're reading this, I'm guessing you're somewhere between "I think I could build something real here" and "I have no idea where to actually start." Maybe you've got clients but no real business. Maybe you've got an idea but you're scared to price it. Maybe you've started twice and stalled both times because nobody gave you a clear, honest framework for how modern small businesses actually work.

I built Small Business Lab because that gap is real — and most of what's out there doesn't fill it. The big business courses assume you have a team, a runway, and an appetite for complexity. The freelance hustle content is long on motivation and short on mechanics. And the generic "start a business" advice was written for a world that doesn't really exist anymore. The knowledge economy has changed everything about how small businesses are built, priced, and grown — and your playbook needs to reflect that.

What I've put together here is everything I wish I'd had in one place: how to validate an idea before you waste time building it, how to construct a business model that's lean enough for a solo operator but structured enough to actually scale, how to price yourself so you stop leaving money on the table, how to land your first paying customers without a marketing budget, and how to build systems that make you look — and operate — like a much bigger operation than you are. The 90-day action plan at the end isn't a nice-to-have. It's the whole point.

I also want to be straight with you about something: this isn't a get-rich-quick program, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. Building a sustainable business takes real decisions, real work, and real clarity about what you want. What I can give you is the framework to make those decisions with confidence — so you're not just grinding harder, you're building smarter.

If you're ready to stop circling the idea and start building the business, I'd be glad to have you in the Lab. Let's get to work.
