Your Personal AI Assistant
The essential foundation module. Before seniors can apply AI to any area of life, they need a calm, confidence-building first encounter with the technology. This module removes fear, builds mental models, and establishes the core skill — talking to AI like a helpful companion — that every later module depends on. All jargon is replaced with plain, purposeful language.
- 1.1Meeting Your AI Assistant for the First TimeIncluded
- 1.2Asking Better Questions, Getting Better AnswersIncluded
- 1.3Writing Assistant: Emails, Letters, and MessagesIncluded
- 1.4Decoding Confusing Documents with AIIncluded
- 1.5Daily Planner and Question-Answering CompanionIncluded
Scam and Fraud Shield
One of the highest-value modules in the program and a powerful subscription driver. This module confronts seniors' biggest online fear with practical, actionable skills rather than vague warnings. By the end, students have a reliable personal system for evaluating any suspicious message, call, or website — and they understand the cutting-edge AI-powered tactics scammers now use against them.
- 2.1How Modern Scams Actually WorkIncluded
- 2.2Spotting Fake Emails, Texts, and WebsitesIncluded
- 2.3Deepfakes, Fake Calls, and the Grandparent ScamIncluded
- 2.4Safe Habits for Passwords, Privacy, and BrowsingIncluded
Health and Medication Helper
AI becomes a personal health organisation partner — never a doctor, but a powerful tool for making every medical interaction more informed and less overwhelming. This module reduces the anxiety seniors feel when facing complex health paperwork, prepares them to be better advocates for themselves at appointments, and brings order to often chaotic medication routines.
- 3.1Decoding Medical Letters, Reports, and JargonIncluded
- 3.2Preparing for Doctor AppointmentsIncluded
- 3.3Organizing Medications and Health SchedulesIncluded
Family Connection and Communication Upgrade
This module addresses one of seniors' deepest emotional needs: feeling genuinely close to family across generational and digital divides. AI becomes a communication bridge — helping seniors write warmer messages, understand how younger family members communicate, and preserve and share the life stories and wisdom that are uniquely theirs to give.
- 4.1Writing Warmer Messages to FamilyIncluded
- 4.2Understanding Digital Communication and Modern SlangIncluded
- 4.3Preserving and Sharing Your Life StoryIncluded
Travel, Independence, and Everyday Problem Solving
This module positions AI as a personal independence engine — the always-available assistant that helps seniors plan confidently, solve problems without needing to call for help, and navigate daily decisions with less stress. Independence is one of seniors' top priorities, and this module makes AI feel like a direct enabler of that goal.
- 5.1Planning Travel with AI as Your Personal GuideIncluded
- 5.2Solving Everyday Household and Life ProblemsIncluded
- 5.3Making Confident Decisions with AI as a Thinking PartnerIncluded
Daily Habits, Purpose, and a Simpler Digital Life
The culminating module that ties the entire course together. Students move from learning individual skills to building sustainable daily AI habits that bring cognitive engagement, emotional purpose, and digital calm into their lives. This module is the retention engine — the reason the subscription stays valuable long after the course ends, because the habits formed here create ongoing, evolving AI use.
- 6.1Journaling, Reflection, and Cognitive EngagementIncluded
- 6.2Life Projects: Writing Your Story and Preserving Your WisdomIncluded
- 6.3Organising Your Digital LifeIncluded
- 6.4Building Your AI Daily RoutineIncluded

Leigh Baumann
I want to start by saying something I genuinely mean: you are not behind. You have navigated enormous changes in your life — and this is simply the next one. The reason it feels harder than it should isn't because you're not capable. It's because nobody has taken the time to sit down with you and explain it properly, in language that respects your intelligence without drowning you in jargon. That's the gap this program was built to close.
I created The Smart Living Club because I kept seeing the same thing: bright, curious, capable people feeling quietly left out of a world that had shifted around them overnight. Worried about clicking the wrong link. Unsure how to respond to a confusing letter from the hospital. Wanting to stay close to grandchildren who communicate in ways that feel like a foreign language. Wondering if there was a way to get the benefits of all this new technology without the anxiety that seems to come with it. The answer is yes — and it doesn't require you to become a tech person. It just requires a good guide.
Every lesson in this program starts with a real situation: a letter you might have on your kitchen table right now, a phone call that didn't quite feel right, a message you wanted to write but weren't sure how to. Then we work through it together, step by step, using AI as your personal assistant along the way. By the end you won't just know what to do — you'll have done it. That's a very different feeling from watching a tutorial and hoping for the best.
The section on scams is close to my heart, because the stakes are real. Modern fraud is sophisticated, convincing, and increasingly powered by the same AI tools we'll be learning to use for good. I want you to finish this program with eyes wide open — able to spot a fake call, question a suspicious email, and feel genuinely protected rather than just worried.
What I hope most, though, is that by the time you reach the final module — the one about daily habits, journaling, and capturing your life story — something has shifted for you. Not just "I know how to use AI now," but something quieter and more lasting: a sense that the world is navigable, that your curiosity is an asset, and that your daily life has more ease and more richness in it than it did before. That's what I built this for. I'd love for you to find out for yourself.
