I built Spark Academy because I believe the best way to learn tech is to build something real — something you're proud to show the world.

Hey — I see you. Maybe you spend a ton of time on your phone, your console, or your laptop, and somewhere in the back of your mind you're thinking: I want to be the one who builds this stuff, not just uses it. Or maybe a parent sent you this link and you're skeptical. Either way — I'm really glad you're here.

I built Spark Academy because I believe teens are so much more capable than most "intro to tech" programs give them credit for. Too many courses hand you a coloring-book version of coding: fill in the blanks, click next, print a certificate. That's not building. That's busywork. You deserve the real thing — and the real thing is more exciting anyway.

In Spark Academy, you will write actual Python. You will launch an actual website with your name on it. You will build a game someone else can play. You will train an AI model on real data. And then you'll put it all in a portfolio that proves — to colleges, to employers, to yourself — exactly what you're capable of. Every project in this program is something you made. Something real.

Here's the thing I want you to know before you start: you're going to feel stuck sometimes. That's not a sign you're doing it wrong — that's literally what coding feels like. The stuck feeling is just the moment before the breakthrough. We push through it together, celebrate every win, and keep moving. The momentum you build here is just as valuable as the code you write.

So whether you're 13 and opening a code editor for the first time, or 17 and ready to take your hobby projects to the next level — this is your place. Come build something. I can't wait to see what you make.
