Teach Anyone, at Any Age — No License Required

"You don't need a license to change someone's life through teaching — you need the right tools, and that's exactly what we're here to build together."
— Michele Beauvoir

Michele Beauvoir
If you're reading this, there's a good chance you already know you want to teach — or that you're already teaching in some form, even if no one has given you a title for it. Maybe you're tutoring kids after school and you're winging the lesson planning. Maybe you're running workshops at work and not sure if what you're doing is actually instructional design or just organized improvisation. Maybe you're homeschooling your children and you want a real framework behind your day, not just a curriculum kit and a prayer.
Whatever brought you here, I want you to know something important up front: the fact that you don't have a formal teaching license does not mean you can't be an exceptional educator. Some of the most effective teachers I've encountered never stood in a licensed public school classroom a day in their lives. What separated them from people who were just "pretty good at explaining things" was that they understood how learning actually works — and they had real tools to make it happen reliably, not just on good days.
That's the gap this program is designed to close. We're going to cover the full arc of what it means to teach well: understanding how children and adults develop and learn differently, designing lessons with clear objectives and smart sequencing, managing a room (or a Zoom) so your learners stay engaged and safe, assessing whether learning is actually happening and adjusting when it isn't, and building the kind of inclusive, responsive environment where every kind of learner can succeed. And we're going to do all of it in plain language, with real examples, without burying you in academic jargon.
I also want to be honest with you about what this program is not. It's not a shortcut to a state teaching license — that pathway exists and has its place, but it's not what we're doing here. What we are doing is preparing you for the enormous and genuinely meaningful world of non-traditional teaching: tutoring, corporate and professional training, community education, homeschooling co-ops, online course creation, nonprofit programs, and more. These roles need skilled, thoughtful educators just as much as traditional classrooms do, and they're often more flexible, more entrepreneurial, and more immediately accessible to someone at your stage.
You'll finish this program with something better than a theory-heavy credential: you'll have a teaching portfolio built from real work, a reflective practice you can sustain, and a capstone lesson you actually delivered to real learners. You'll know what it feels like to plan carefully, teach with intention, and grow from the experience — because we'll walk through that full cycle together.
If you're ready to stop improvising and start teaching with real skill and real confidence, I'd be honored to be your guide through that process. Let's get started.
