Tea with the Masters

I built this school because the questions worth asking deserve more than a five-step framework — they deserve a real conversation.

Who it's for

Is this you?

The Midlife Questioner

She's achieved the things she planned for and still feels an unnamed hunger — this school gives that hunger somewhere worthy to go.

The Burned-Out Creative

He has a vision he can't quite execute and no framework for the inner work — the Tesla and Rumi dialogues speak directly to his block.

The Lifelong Learner

She's always had a shelf full of classics she meant to really understand, and this school is finally the guided, beautiful entry point she was waiting for.

The Self-Taught Philosopher

He reads voraciously but never had a method for turning ideas into personal principles — the dialogue-and-reflection practice is exactly what's been missing.

The Quietly Lost Twenty-Something

She's done with generic advice and craves conversations that treat her big questions — about purpose, identity, belonging — with the seriousness they deserve.

The Stoic in Progress

He's read Marcus Aurelius once, underlined half of it, and wants a structured way to actually apply Stoic principles to a demanding modern life.

TheMindfulWonderer

I want to start by saying: I know where you are.

You've read the books — maybe a lot of them. You've highlighted the passages, nodded at the podcasts, tried the morning routines. And there's something in you that keeps asking for more than that. Not more information. More depth. More beauty. More of the feeling that someone who has genuinely wrestled with the human condition is sitting across from you, looking you in the eye, and speaking directly to the thing you can't quite name.

That restlessness is not a flaw. It's a signal. It's the same thing that drove Marcus Aurelius to keep a private journal no one was ever supposed to read. It's what sent Rumi spinning in the streets of 13th-century Persia. It's what kept Tesla awake, seeing visions of machines that didn't exist yet. These were people who refused to let the noise of ordinary life drown out the deeper questions — and I believe you are that kind of person too.

Tea with the Masters grew out of a simple practice I developed for myself: whenever I faced a question I couldn't answer alone, I'd imagine sitting down with someone who had wrestled with something like it. What would Lao Tzu say about my need to control every outcome? What would Simone de Beauvoir say about the identity I'd inherited versus the one I was choosing? The dialogues in this school are the refined, carefully researched version of that practice — built so you can use it too, not just once, but for the rest of your life.

What I want for you is not that you become a scholar of any one of these thinkers. I want you to emerge from this school with a clearer sense of who you are — your values, your edges, your principles — because you've had the rare experience of holding your life up next to the lives and ideas of people who thought very deeply about how to live. The Personal Philosophy document you'll build is not an assignment. It's a compass. One you made yourself, in the best company imaginable.

The table is set. Come as you are. Bring your real questions — the ones you're almost embarrassed to say out loud. Those are exactly the ones worth asking.
