Give AI a professional induction into your business.
Most businesses get mediocre results from AI because they skip the most important step: giving AI the context it needs. The AI Induction gives independent business owners a practical, jargon-free framework to brief, guide and direct AI tools so they produce more useful, consistent and commercially relevant outputs.

“AI does not need more clever prompts. It needs a proper induction into your business. That’s exactly what this course is designed to help you build.”— Amanda Cunningham

How AI Actually Works (In Plain English)
Before owners can use AI confidently or talk about it credibly with peers and clients, they need a clear, jargon-free mental model of what AI language tools actually are, how they generate responses, and why that matters for a small business. This foundational module sets honest expectations and builds the confidence to keep going.
- 1.1What Is an AI Language Tool, Really?Included
- 1.2The AI Landscape for Independent Business OwnersIncluded
- 1.3Setting Realistic Expectations Before You BeginIncluded
Why Generic Prompts Fail (And How to Fix Them)
This module tackles the most common reason business owners give up on AI: they tried it, got bland or irrelevant results, and concluded 'it's not for me.' Learners discover that generic outputs are a direct symptom of generic inputs, then build a repeatable, context-first approach to prompting that produces sharp, relevant, on-brand results using their own business language.
- 2.1The Generic Trap: Why Vague In Means Vague OutIncluded
- 2.2The Context-First Prompting MethodIncluded
- 2.3Tone, Voice, and On-Brand OutputsIncluded
Capturing Your Business Context: The Business Brief
This is the practical core of the course. Learners build their own Business Brief — a structured, reusable document that gives any AI tool an immediate induction into their business. By the end of this module, learners have a living document covering their voice, values, audience, offers, and boundaries that they can paste into any AI tool to get context-aware results from the very first prompt.
- 3.1What Your AI Needs to Know About Your BusinessIncluded
- 3.2Building Your Business BriefIncluded
- 3.3Making Your Brief Reusable Across Every AI ToolIncluded
Responsible AI: Your Boundaries, Your Business
Confidence with AI must include knowing where not to go. This module gives business owners a practical, business-specific framework for responsible AI use — covering data privacy, output verification, compliance basics, and the ethical question of authenticity and disclosure. Learners leave with a set of personal AI boundaries they have documented and will actually keep.
- 4.1What Never Goes Into an AI PromptIncluded
- 4.2Verifying Outputs and Knowing When Not to Trust AIIncluded
- 4.3Authenticity, Authorship, and Telling Clients the TruthIncluded
The AI Already in Your Everyday Tools
Most independent business owners are already paying for AI without realising it. This module removes the barrier of 'I don't know which AI to use' by showing learners how to get immediate, practical value from AI features already embedded in the tools they use every day — Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Workspace with Gemini, and Canva AI — before considering any additional subscriptions.
- 5.1Microsoft 365 Copilot: AI Inside the Tools You Already UseIncluded
- 5.2Google Workspace AI: Gemini Where You Already WorkIncluded
- 5.3Canva AI: Design and Content Without a Design TeamIncluded
Building Your AI Workspace
Everything in the course has been building to this: a working, personalised AI Workspace that any independent business owner can open tomorrow and use with confidence. This module brings together the Business Brief, responsible use boundaries, prompt templates, and preferred tools into a single structured system — and then runs it live so learners leave with proof that it works.
- 6.1Designing Your AI Workspace StructureIncluded
- 6.2Building Your Prompt Template LibraryIncluded
- 6.3Running Your First Full AI-Assisted Work SessionIncluded

Amanda Cunningham
If you’ve opened ChatGPT, typed something in, read the response and thought:
“Well, that’s fine, I suppose…”
I want you to know that reaction is completely reasonable.
Not because AI is overhyped (although some of it is), but because most people are asking AI to help without first giving it the information it needs about their business. Of course the result feels generic. The AI doesn’t know you, your customers, your experience, your values or how your business actually works.
That’s the gap I built The AI Induction to close.
For more than 16 years, I’ve worked in digital, social media, sales, marketing and business development, and for the past several years I’ve been immersed in the rapid changes happening across AI. The pattern I see repeatedly is this: smart, capable business owners getting disappointing results from AI not because they’re doing anything wrong, but because nobody has shown them the one step that makes the biggest difference.
The induction. The briefing. The context.
What I teach in The AI Induction isn’t complicated and it isn’t technical. It’s a practical, grounded system that helps you understand how these tools actually work, why generic prompts produce generic outputs, how to capture the context your business needs, and how to create an AI Workspace you’ll genuinely use.
I’ve been deliberate about keeping this course honest. I won’t tell you AI will transform your business overnight or replace the thinking you bring to it. What I will tell you is that, with the right context, boundaries and systems, AI stops feeling like a novelty and starts becoming a useful, reliable part of how you work.
If you’re curious about AI but tired of vague advice, conflicting opinions and generic outputs, this course was built for you.
Let’s give your AI a proper induction.
