Know your Bible from Genesis to Revelation

Perhaps you've been a believer for years — faithful in church, sincere in your faith — and yet there are whole stretches of your Bible you've never truly entered. The prophets feel distant. The letters of Paul are rich but tangled. You can find John 3:16, but Habakkuk? Philemon? The book of Numbers? If you're honest, those pages feel like foreign country. And somewhere underneath that, there's a quiet longing: I want to know this book. All of it.

Or maybe you're newer to faith, and someone just handed you a Bible and said, "Read this." You opened it, genuinely wanting to understand — and quickly realized that sixty-six books written across fifteen centuries in three languages, spanning poetry and prophecy and law and letters, require more than good intentions. They require a guide.

That's exactly why The Bible Institute exists. I built this school around one conviction: every serious follower of Christ deserves to be walked through the whole Word of God — not just the popular passages, not just the comfortable chapters — with the kind of care and clarity that makes the text come alive. We begin where every good study of Scripture must begin: with the question of why we can trust this Book — its inspiration, its inerrancy, and the remarkable story of how the canon of Scripture was preserved and handed down to us. From that foundation, we move together through the Torah, the Prophets, the Wisdom literature, the Gospels, the Epistles, and finally Revelation — not rushing, not skipping, not pretending the hard parts aren't there.

What I want for you is not merely information. I want you to finish this school and be able to open your Bible to any page — any genre, any covenant, any century — and know how to read what you're looking at. I want you to understand why Isaiah sounds different from Psalms, why Paul's letter to the Romans requires different tools than the Gospel of Mark, why Revelation is not a newspaper but an apocalyptic vision with a very specific literary tradition. I want you to carry the whole redemptive story in your mind, so that every passage you read, you can locate within it.
