Who it's for

Is this you?

The curious beginner

She's started and stopped several meditation apps and wants a real, structured explanation of what the mind actually is and why practice matters.

The seasoned meditator

He's logged years of sit time but has hit a plateau and needs a conceptual and experiential map to move into deeper, less familiar territory.

The philosophy-minded professional

He reads philosophy of mind and neuroscience on weekends and wants a course that takes both the science and the contemplative traditions seriously — without dumbing either down.

The lifelong self-inquirer

She's explored therapy, journaling, and inner work for years and is ready to go deeper into subconscious patterns and the direct investigation of self and awareness.

The altered-states explorer

He's had spontaneous flow states and vivid lucid dreams and wants to understand, reliably enter, and safely integrate these experiences rather than leave them to chance.

The post-awakening navigator

She's had glimpses of non-dual awareness or a significant shift in perception and needs grounded, discerning guidance to understand and embody what's unfolding.

If you're reading this, you've probably already sensed it — that pull beneath the surface of ordinary life. The feeling that what you've been taught about the mind doesn't quite account for everything you've experienced. That meditation is pointing toward something real, even when the app version leaves you cold. That the big questions — about awareness, reality, the self — aren't abstract puzzles but live urgencies.

I know that place. It's what drew me into this work, and it's exactly who this school is for.

What I found, after years of practice and study, is that most of us are trying to work with consciousness using maps that are far too small. We've been handed either the purely materialist model — mind as brain, awareness as byproduct — or a soft, vague spirituality that asks us to feel good without giving us any real tools. Neither respects what's actually happening in us. Neither gives us leverage.

The Conscious Mind is the school I wished had existed when I began. It starts at the foundation — what consciousness actually is, and why ordinary awareness has structural limitations — and builds deliberately from there. We move through how thoughts and beliefs construct your lived reality (not poetically, but mechanically, with practices to shift it), into the subconscious architecture that runs most of your life beneath your notice, through meditation as genuine depth-work rather than stress relief, into altered states including lucid dreaming and flow, and finally into the territory most courses are afraid to address head-on: awakening, non-dual awareness, and the nature of reality from the perspectives of physics, philosophy, and direct experience.

Everything here is weaved together on purpose. Neuroscience sits beside Advaita Vedanta not to create an eclectic jumble, but because they are, at their most precise, describing the same thing. I've tried to use language that is exact without being cold, and warm without being vague — because the subject deserves nothing less. You are intelligent. You are serious. And what you're inquiring into is the most profound territory a human being can enter.

This isn't a course you passively consume. It's a living practice you step into. Come with an open mind, a willingness to sit quietly with what arises, and the courage to question what you think you know about the mind that's been doing the thinking all along. I'll meet you there.
