Who it's for
Is this you?
The hungry new believer
She's come to faith with real enthusiasm but craves a framework — something deeper than inspiration quotes — to build her understanding on.
The longtime churchgoer
He's been in the pews for decades but senses he's still circling the same shallow waters and wants to finally go deep into the doctrinal bedrock.
The small group leader
He's leading others but feels underprepared — this school gives him the historical roots, word studies, and teaching tools to lead with real confidence.
The intellectually curious skeptic
She holds her faith carefully and needs historically honest, rigorous teaching — not platitudes — before she can trust a doctrine enough to build on it.
The self-taught Bible student
He's dug into Scripture on his own but wants guided access to Hebrew and Greek root words and early Church context to sharpen what he's built.
The returning believer
She stepped away from faith for years and is coming back — she needs to rebuild from the ground up, and these six foundations give her exactly the right starting place.

Steven Yates
I know what it feels like to sit in a pew — or a living room Bible study, or a Sunday school class — and quietly wonder: Is this all there is? You love God. You read your Bible. You show up. But somewhere underneath the familiar songs and the sermon notes, there's a nagging sense that you're still treading water. That you've never quite gotten your feet on solid ground.
That feeling has a name in the New Testament. The writer of Hebrews calls it spiritual infancy — living on milk when you were made for meat. And here's the good news: he doesn't just diagnose the problem. He gives us a blueprint. Six foundational doctrines, laid out in Hebrews 6:1–3, that the earliest believers understood as the non-negotiable bedrock of a mature Christian life. Repentance. Faith. Baptisms. The laying on of hands. Resurrection. Eternal judgment. Six stones. One foundation.
The problem is that most of us have only ever heard these doctrines in fragments — a sermon here, a confirmation class there — stripped of the rich Judeo-Christian soil they grew out of. When you don't know that teshuvah (repentance) was already a fully formed Hebrew concept long before the New Testament, or that mikveh (ritual immersion) gives the doctrine of baptisms a depth that Sunday morning barely scratches, you end up with a thinner faith than you were ever meant to carry. That's what I want to change.
In this school, we go back to the roots — Hebrew and Greek, Torah and early Church — not to make things complicated, but to make them real. Every word study, every historical thread, every ancient debate is brought forward and landed squarely in the question I care about most: So how does this change your Tuesday? Because doctrine that doesn't transform your ordinary week isn't really doing its job.
You don't need a seminary degree to take this journey. You need curiosity, a willingness to slow down and look closely, and a hunger to move beyond spiritual infancy. If that's where you are, I'd be honored to walk through these six foundations with you — stone by stone, root by root, all the way to a faith you can finally stand on. Welcome. Let's build something solid.
