Build something real with your own two hands

Hey — if you're reading this, I'm guessing you've thought about welding for a while but never quite pulled the trigger. Maybe you watched someone run a bead and thought, "I could do that." Maybe you've got a project in your head — a rack, a stand, a fire pit — and no idea how to actually make it. Maybe you just want to learn a real skill with your hands, something that produces something.

I know that feeling. And I also know the thing that stops most people isn't ability — it's not knowing where to start. Walk into a welding shop without a roadmap and it's loud, hot, and full of equipment that looks like it wants to hurt you. That's not a lack of talent. That's just a lack of a good first guide.

That's what Weld & Build is. I built this course the way I wish someone had taught me — starting with the stuff that keeps you safe and sets you up for success, then moving through every skill in the exact order you actually need it. We don't do theory for theory's sake. Every technique — reading a fabrication drawing, striking an arc, tacking pieces square, running a full bead, grinding a weld smooth — gets tied back to the project you're building. Because skills that don't connect to something real don't stick.

By the time you reach the final section, you won't just know about welding. You'll have set up and shut down a welder, cut metal with an angle grinder, fitted and clamped pieces into alignment, welded them together, and finished the whole thing with primer and paint. You'll hold something in your hands that didn't exist before you started. That's the goal. That's always the goal.

You don't need prior experience. You don't need a fully equipped shop. You need to show up, follow the steps, and be willing to make a few ugly beads before you make a good one. I'll be with you the whole way. Let's build something.
