From A-B-C to full sentences — in English!

Hi there, and welcome! If you are a parent reading this, I know what you might be feeling right now. I hear you. That is exactly why I built Young English Academy the way I did.

I believe every child deserves to feel capable in a new language — not frustrated, not bored, and never embarrassed. Learning English as a non-native speaker is a big thing for a small person to take on! That is why every lesson in this program is designed to feel like an adventure first and a lesson second. We start with the very shapes of the letters — the curves and lines that make an "A" or a "G" — because there is something magical about the moment a child draws their first letter and hears its sound click into place.

From there, we build carefully and joyfully. Phonics gives children the power to unlock new words on their own — and watching that confidence light up a child's face is why I do this. Speaking and listening activities let them use real English straight away, from saying hello to talking about their feelings and giving directions. Reading grows from a first short story all the way to chapters and non-fiction articles. And writing blooms from single labels and sentences into paragraphs, stories, and even persuasive pieces. Each skill feeds the others, and every stage celebrates how far your child has come.

I also want to say this directly: you do not need to be an English teacher yourself to guide your child through this program. The lessons are warm, clear, and structured so that a caring parent, a classroom teacher, or a homeschool educator can sit alongside a child and make it work.
