Our mission
Founder of Kingdom Advancement Strategists | Organizational Leadership Doctoral Student | Digital Experience Strategist

I started teaching this because I know what it means to seek clarity while carrying meaningful ideas, responsibilities, and a desire to make a difference.
I’m Kimberly J. Lewis, M.Div., founder of Kingdom Advancement Strategists and creator of KAS Academy. My work brings together ministry, coaching, change and transformation, and a deep commitment to helping people move from understanding to purposeful action.
I am pursuing my Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University. My interests center on ethical leadership, neurodiversity, and the responsible use of AI—especially how we create environments and tools that respect different ways of thinking and keep people involved in the decisions that affect them.
This work is also personal. As a neurodivergent Black woman, I understand the importance of finding approaches that work with how I think. Setting goals, organizing ideas, and connecting my daily actions to a larger purpose are practices I continue to develop in my own life.
AI has become one tool I use to support that process. I think of it as a cognitive prosthetic: a support that helps me organize thoughts, explore possibilities, and break complex work into manageable steps. It does not replace my voice, my faith, or my judgment. It helps me bring my thinking into clearer focus—and I remain responsible for what I choose to do with it.
That distinction is foundational to KAS Academy. Our first offering, AI Experience Framework™, helps learners explore responsible AI use while keeping human judgment, authentic voice, values, and accountability central. Before we ask what technology can do, we need to consider why we are using it, whom it affects, and what matters most.
Purpose & Goals brings that same intentional approach to personal growth. Through Scripture-grounded reflection, you explore your gifts, strengths, and story, clarify your direction, and turn meaningful goals into practical next steps. Its six stages—Ground, Discover, Discern, Design, Act, and Review—provide a structure for moving forward while honoring your current season and responsibilities.
My virtual coaching and counseling interactions have reinforced how much people need space to reflect without being rushed or measured only by their productivity. That understanding shapes the learning experiences I create: clear frameworks, thoughtful questions, and practical exercises that help you apply what you learn.
You can begin with responsible AI or start with your own purpose and goals. Each offering stands independently. As the academy grows, additional learning experiences will continue this commitment to faith-informed reflection, responsible technology, and meaningful action.
You do not have to arrive with everything figured out. Come as you are. Begin where you are. Take your next faithful step.
