You don't become a theologically mature minister by collecting facts — you become one by moving through the right questions in the right order. This Master of Arts in Theology begins where all serious ministry must: with the God-given structure of the Church itself. You'll first map the fivefold ministry gifts that define the Church's mission, then descend into the depths of soteriology to understand exactly what Christ accomplished and for whom. From there, the journey turns inward — into the theology of spiritual formation — so that what you know doctrinally begins to reshape who you are personally.
The second half of the journey confronts the hardest realities of pastoral life. You'll wrestle theologically and pastorally with suffering, evil, and divine healing — learning to hold intellectual honesty and compassionate care together without flinching. Then comes the summit: a graduate-level immersion in Christology, where every prior doctrine finds its center and anchor in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. Nothing you have studied to this point will look the same after it.
The journey closes not in the library but in the local church. Biblical Leadership and Church Administration translates everything you have learned — doctrine, formation, Christology, pastoral theology — into the organizational and relational competencies required to lead a healthy, thriving ministry. By the final lesson, you are not simply more informed. You are equipped, formed, and ready to lead.
