How much does TeachClub cost?

$27 a month for one school with up to 100 students. Everything included, everything not included, and how the money works when you sell.

TeachClub costs $27/month (Teacher: one school, 100 students) or $69/month (Club: ten schools, 500 students, courses, your own website and domain). Payments, checkout, refunds, and student accounts are included — no setup fees, no contracts. When you sell through the built-in checkout you keep 60%; selling through your own funnel at your own price costs a flat per-seat fee instead.

What running a course business used to cost

Before comparing plans, it's worth remembering the bill TeachClub replaces. A standard build-it-yourself course business stacks up something like this:

The typical do-it-yourself stack (approximate market rates, checked September 2026)
What you'd assembleTypical cost
Course platform subscription$39–199/mo
Website + hosting + domain$15–40/mo
Email tool$20–50/mo
Payment processing setup~3% + your time
Camera, mic, lighting, editing software$500–2,000 up front
Your evenings for 2–6 monthsthe real cost

TeachClub's pitch is not "the same stack, cheaper." It's that the stack stops being your problem: the school gets built, hosted, and taught for you, and the payment system already exists.

The honest way to read that table: Teacher is the whole product for one school. It isn't a crippled trial — your school teaches in full, sells in full, and pays out in full. Club exists for people running several schools or wanting a multi-page website of their own; Pro is for organizations, priced by conversation.

When you sell: the two roads

This is the part most pricing pages hide, so here it is plainly. There are two ways money moves on TeachClub, and you can use either — or both.

Road one: the built-in checkout

Your school comes with a working checkout. Students pay by card, and you keep 60% of every sale — the rest is what keeps the machine running: card processing, receipts, refunds, disputes, sales-tax handling, and your students' ongoing AI teaching, which costs real compute every time they learn. You never set up a payment account, and there are no additional transaction fees stacked on top.

Road two: your own funnel, your own price

Sell access yourself — your funnel, your checkout, any price you want — and simply enroll your buyers into your school by email. That route costs a flat per-seat fee based on your school's listed price, not a percentage of what you charged outside. Teachers selling premium packages through their own funnels keep everything above that flat fee. The full math with worked examples is in the migration guide.

Two roads, your choice, per student. A revenue share you can route around isn't a toll — it's the price of not having to run your own payment operation, and you only pay it where you use it.

The fine print, volunteered

Every platform has fine print. Ours is short enough to list in full, and we'd rather you read it here than discover it later:

  • One-time purchases are a 30-day access window, not lifetime access. If you want students around long-term, price monthly, every 6 months, or yearly. (All pricing options explained.)
  • At your plan's student cap (100 on Teacher), new enrollments pause until you upgrade — buyers see "not accepting enrollments right now" and you get notified immediately. Existing students are never touched.
  • Checkout and card statements say TeachClub, not your school's name — we're the merchant handling the taxes and disputes. Everything students see and use carries your brand. (What's yours vs. ours.)
  • AI credits meter on-demand extras — regenerating images, AI rewrites — never your students' learning. New accounts get 1,000 free; $20 buys 4,000 more and purchased credits never expire. (How credits work.)

Costs that don't exist

  • No setup fee.
  • No annual contract — plans are month to month.
  • No per-student fee on built-in checkout sales (the 60/40 split is the whole arrangement).
  • No charge for your students' AI usage, at any volume — a school with 100 active students pays the same $27 as a school with 3.
  • No cancellation process beyond clicking cancel. (What happens if you do.)

So what does it actually cost to find out?

One month, $27, and an afternoon. That buys a fully built school with a working checkout that you can show to real people. If it's not for you, cancel from your own account — no call, no retention script. The knowledge you'd teach is already paid for; it's been sitting in your head for years.

Quick answers

Does TeachClub have a free plan for teachers?

No. Learning is free for students, but running a school requires a paid plan — Teacher at $27/month or Club at $69/month. There's no contract and you can cancel anytime from your own account.

Are there setup fees or transaction fees on top?

No setup fee, no contract, and no extra transaction fee stacked on the revenue share. When a student pays through your checkout, you keep 60% — that single split covers card processing, refunds, taxes, and your students' AI teaching.

What happens when I reach 100 students on the Teacher plan?

New enrollments pause until you upgrade to Club (500 students) — would-be buyers are told the school isn't accepting enrollments right now, and you're notified so you can decide. Existing students are never affected.

Do one-time purchases give students lifetime access?

No — a one-time purchase grants a 30-day access window. For ongoing access, price your school monthly, every 6 months, or yearly.
